In short I think you will have deficiencies at one point. In long, 3-9-6 represents the NPK of the bottle. Having Nutrogen (N) at 3 is very low especially for the early stages of grow. Additionally you wouldn't want all that Phosphorus and Potassium during these same early stages of grow. This ratio is good for when the plant is in early bloom and you're looking to strengthen your plant for big buds. If you want a feeding chart, go to your favourite store, search for a simple feeding chart of the brands they have available (I personally use advanced nutrients but all brands have their suggestions) and follow it. Some feeding charts are larger and more complex than others, no need to be buying 10 different bottels at the start, keep it to the simplest and add along the way. Good luck for the rest of your grow

No, not 100% suitable for either grow or bloom.

If its all you got, use it, then supplement with more N and maybe K if needed. Also is this dry amendment robust and have the micros it needs like Iron, Sulphur, Zinc, Calcium or Magnesium? There are other micros, the one listed above are just the main ones that are lacking normally. I've used pro mix before and has mixed results. I always find it goes to acidic on me. it does not have a lot of micros in it, so you need to ensure that part is covered. Good Luck!

* i drop my N ppm 10-15% in flower to avoid buildup, YMMV. 1.3-1.4 EC is typically my overall concentration.

gonna run into issues with that ratio, guaraneed. even if it "works" for a few weeks, over time it'll result in a P-tox or N-def depending on how you dose it. and gonna be low on K if dosed for good p levels vs good N levels. the science points to 1-1-2 ish. i like 7-8-15. These are the ratios companies like souther AG, master blend and j.r. peters use in their hydro/soilles focused fertilizers, and it's no coincidence they are so similar. it's based on the same research. you can find that same base 5-12-26 or 5-13-27 i think is southern AG, then with 15-0-0 cal nitrate, and weighted averages come out to about 1-1-2 give or take. this sort of formula will work on 95% of plants. some need small tweaks to N... even extremely esoteric plants shouldn't need much adjustment otherwise... weird plants are poorly breed plants, imho.... a stupid trait to pass on.

Suerte

Hi buddy, Starting and finishing an autoflower grow with a dry organic powder with NPK numbers 3-9-6 in a Pro-Mix medium definitely not the best. The NPK ratio of 3-9-6 indicates a higher proportion of phosphorus (P) relative to nitrogen (N) and potassium (K). This ratio is suitable for flowering and can encourage robust bud development and flowering. However, the lower nitrogen content might not be sufficient for the earlier vegetative growth stage. During the initial vegetative phase, plants require a balanced nutrient profile with a focus on nitrogen for healthy leaf and stem development. If the organic powder lacks sufficient nitrogen for this stage, you might need to supplement with additional nitrogen-rich nutrients or amendments. As your autoflower plants transition to the flowering stage, the higher phosphorus content in the organic powder can support flower formation and development. Ensure that the organic powder is compatible with your Pro-Mix medium and won't disrupt its structure or pH balance. Organic nutrients can release slowly over time, providing a gradual nutrient supply. To provide a more balanced nutrient profile throughout the entire lifecycle, you could consider using a complete organic nutrient line that covers both vegetative and flowering stages. In conclusion, while starting and finishing your autoflower grow with a 3-9-6 organic powder can work, it's important to address the potential nitrogen deficiency during early vegetative growth. Monitor your plants closely and consider supplementing with nitrogen-rich amendments or nutrients during that phase. Ensuring a balanced nutrient approach will help your autoflowers achieve optimal growth, flowering, and yield. If u got further Questions feel free to DM me :) Have fun and good luck !!
