Feeding the plant a little honey?

Faegrows
Faegrowsstarted grow question 3 years ago
I read that honey is used by certain growers to sweeten the buds. They dilute it in some ph water. I have nothing that sweetens the buds nute wise. Anyone experience with this? I kinda wanna give it a go.

Of course you can! Most people usually choose molasses, but honey has been used forever https://softsecrets.com/en-US/article/grow-some-sweet-cannabis-plants-honey

Correct. It won’t ‘sweeten’ the bud. It will feed microbes. All I’m saying is honey is an acceptable additive.

It is rubbish, honey can not alter the flavour of cannabis, neither can molasses, which does nothing either. Both these substances are water soluble, whereas trichomes are oil based. Oil and water do not mix, plain and simple. If it were that simple, we would have toffee apples growing on trees for decades now! Liquid sugars may feed soil microbes slightly, but will have absolutely no direct affect on cannabis plants directly and molasses/honey is a myth that has absolutely no scientific basis and can be best described as "an old wives' tale". To actually do something positive for your plants' flowers, give your plant humic or fulvic acids, or both of them for a real kick! Also, organic amino acid is a real wonder booster and I swear by its effectiveness. Regards, Organoman.
