I am on day 10 of switching to 12 hours, pistils are starting to emerge. Should I take this as day 1 of flower or continue with original timing and start to add extra nutrients as stated on the feed schedule?

Its all how you want to run your diary, when I switch my light cycle to 12/12 I classify that as entering flower. I also keep giving it the same feed as i did in veg with maybe some extra P and K as its going to be stretching a lot in the next little while. After the stretch is completed I tend to move over to my flowering feed, but moving forward that's not going to be to much different then my Veg feed as the plants requirements don't change to much. I know of others who will call day 1 flower when they start to see more pistils emerge and stretch starts to begin. There is no right or wrong answer its all for your own logs as long as you remember when you flipped the photoperiod to 12/12 is all that counts. When asking questions about it just let people know when you flipped them as that's a moment of change in its life they can used as a reference point. This topic reminds me of when you you start Germination week and when is week 1 of growth. I like the nuances of it all but in the end it does not really matter. Its the Harvest entry that's king :D Good Luck!

Si es necesario tomarlo como el primer día y empezar a agregar mas cantidad de potasio para estimular la floración. Aumentar la potencia de las luces y reducir la humedad. Buena suerte

Hello, first weeks after switch to 12/12 are pre flowering weeks but you count them as first weeks of flowering!. Its important to think like so because you need to adjust nutrient and other factors ( lowering RH, Higher light levels..) to be able to go into bud development as quick's as it can. If you use Grow nutrients feeding its going to delay a little bit off flowering.

Depends on whether your growing indoors or out. First day of flower is when you switch your light schedule but that just triggers the hormone change. Takes up to 1 to 2 weeks to actually start into full flower. Outdoors the hormone change starts at the 14 and a half hour mark and usually start flowering at 14. Indoors is the same if you had a naturally depleting light source, so we settle on the 12 hour mark to make the change happen. So outdoors we set the diary to flower once you see button size buds developed.

Switch to 12/12 is your first day in most cases, but all smokers have theirs own system.

I believe this stage is called pre-flower but you should still continue with the original timing. With regards to feeding start adding the extra nutrients as stated on the feed schedule . Good luck with the rest of your grow
