Mutated strain?

Herikus

Almost every leaf on my Wedding Cake has an extra, smaller one on top of it. She also produces 3 new sprouts from every node. She's very short, really bushy and has a kind of green pastel color. And she doesn't want to stretch at all. Is this a mutation and what can I expect?

Mutations are fantastic and super interesting. This doesnt seem to be one thats gonna to affect yield or potency so thats a plus. I had one plant that stayed yellow and was super weird compared to the other but the buds she produced were massive compared to the other plants. Itll be Interesting to see and you should take note of the differences. You may have a unicorn ot maybe a dud. best of luck and im excited to see what happens. i plan to follow your page out of curiosity

The leaf thing isn't too rare. I've seen 'self-topping' plants that have 3-4 growth tips form at each node etc.. shit happens. Extra branching is rarely a good trait. Just makes it more difficult to manage. Like everything else, the "right" amount of colas per sq ft maximizes yield, not just "more per sq ft." More just leads to overcrowding and tiny buds but same overall weight per sq ft produced.

Try to get some male pollen to fertilize some seeds. Wild genetics are wanted. At least keep one cutting.
