Lollipop yes, defoliate no.
Just remember........
maximum amount of leaves = maximum amount of energy production = maximum growth.
or........
less leaves = less energy = less growth.

Net is fine. Rather than defoliation go for lollipopping because it gives purpose to the defoliation. Additionally it is better that you give it a week to recover before flipping it.

as you can see the strain is auto royal dwarf. (day 45).
it touches all 4 walls of the box. and almost no light reaches down.

Should I remove some of the dense foliage as I start LST, or wait? Other suggestions appreciated!The Durban Poison and Jack 47 are very dense, with tight nodes. I’m beginning LST this week to get more light to more of the branches, but should I prune some of the excess foliage? If so, how do I decide what to remove? Thanks in advance for your help!

Defoliate or not?So here i have 3 GSC’s. One is growing real slow so I’ve not done LST. One the 2 that i have done LST which are bigger ive defoliated one a little bit just yesterday. I can already notice its growing taller now than the other.

Defoliation in mid-late floweringCan I still be defoliating in week 5-6 of flowering? The buds seem quite leafy and a lot of the lower sites aren't getting light, I feel like if I removed some of the larger fan leaves on top it would let the full cola grow thick bud sites rather than just the tops?
