i'm making a scrog with 4 royal gorilla q they were topped twice. Usually I take 3 to 4 fan leaves from each plant a day, cut with scissors to prevent them from shading budsites. I do this every day. Is this correct or am I stressing the plant? they started blooming this week

I would recommend removing no more than 1/3 of all the developed leaves from the plant! Defoliation gives light to new growth points, but you can't stress it out every day and cut something! It will flower very slowly, my friend! Do defoliation once every 1-2 weeks and you won't feel any problems or slowdowns in growth! 👆 Good luck, buddy! ✊😇

2 weeks before flowering, remove 20% of the lower leaves and the fan leaves. 3 weeks after flowering, remove another 30% that will have grown between the fan leaves and those that are shading.

It's ok to pluck one or two every few days.. but I wouldn't make it a daily habit. I'd lollipop and a light defoliation when you flip to flower.. then about the end of the 3rd week into flowering a good 1/3 defoliation of large fan leaves.. After this point the plant stops regrowing new fan leaves and you won't want to remove anything.. Hope this helps.. Happy growing. 👊
