Is there any benefit to hanging the whole plant to dry versus hanging wet trimmed branches to dry?

Should i harvest?or pistils brow due to sun. First brown pistils came very early but trichomes seem ready too now. Idk how reliable pics. Want her to grow.These are pics of 2 different buds on my plant. The main bud has its most pistils brown but some other buds are mostly white. All buds are rlly small so i hope i can let them grow a little longer. But the trichomes are mostly milky some even amber i think. Should i harvest?
