garlic storm (frioty/sweet) and buttermilk biscuits (more of a skunk taste with hint of spice) from in house genetics -- i woldn't pay 20+ per seed anymore though.
i bred those 2 and the result was more vigorous with similar quality. fruity/skunky. 1000s of seeds for free is much better...
i'm avoiding those types of sellers now. Hoping ethos comes through for me. from what i see of others, should be similar aerial density of trichomes as what i saw with inhouse, but with a buch better price.
If i spend 200 on a 10-seed pack, i get buyer's remorse.
murphy's law - i bought 2 packs of 10 for 400. my tap water pH changed unbeknownst to me while i was still ph-adjusting for a much higher pH. I killed 0 worth of those seeds... i was not happy. Seeds have no business being that expensive.. stupid people have driven up prices by being unknowledgeable and gullible, lol.
bought another 10 pack of regs, which were cheaper, and wasn't so happy with that plant either. so 2 of three that i bought over 1.5 years were not worth the exorbitant prices. After spending 500 in 1-1.5 years, i took 2 years off of buying seeds. learned my lesson. I look for quality and decent pricing... no more paying extra for a name.
make your own seed from 2 excellent plants. it's worth it. Now each cycle i'm looking for 2 that match up well trait-wise and any other hq plants i'll toss in just to see what happens with the combination of different flavors.
flavor is king.. can always smoke more if it's not up to snuff potency-wise. I've yet to hear of a grower who has to conserve how much they smoke, bwahah.
