Cob Led Heat Problem

FYI, I grew in a PC case, but only used 45W of LED bar lights. - - - - > Good harvest, considering. About 24 grams. The input output fans, did keep the box cool, but I was able to utilize a lot of the vertical height, because those individual lights (<3w) burned cool. With COB, you may not get within a few inches from them, due to UV burn, thus diminishing your vertical capability. This is just conjecture with your set up, good luck.

I would set up two at 50 and load them in parallel with one 60w driver at 1400-2000ma....or I would use a driver with a dimmer with parallel power from 60w to 100w. With good air ventilation from the pc case, there shouldn't be any heating in the box, and with the dimmer, it's also easy to control the power and temperature! 👌 Good luck, bro! 👌😇👍

Hey bro! 👋 COB LEDs are very effective for lighting plants, but it's also important not to skimp on the driver. If you fully load each chip at 50W, it will be too much for a PC case. I'm more than sure that 2 chips will also be too much, but if you're not planning to install lenses, then maybe 2 COB LEDs (50W+50W) will be enough for your space and height. 👌 Good luck, bro! 👌😇👍

Are you just using individual chips? Or like whole light boards? If it's just chips probably not man. 🤟😜
