Low humidity issue

Tents 20'' × 30''. Using a vivosun 6'' inline fan to exhaust with passive intake to create negative pressure. I have a good humidifier but even on full the rh doesnt go above 40%. Not unless the room the tent vents into becomes super humid as well.

This is getting frustrating. Your asking the same questions and not doing your own research.. Your 6" inline fan is super overkill for your tent even on it's lowest setting, it's a 440 CFM .. I know it is because my vivosun 6 in inline exhaust is overkill for my 60"X60" tent.... Again you don't have to listen but.. Turning it down won't help even on it's lowest setting.... Get a smaller one or just turn it off or buy a commercial grade humidifier to pump the Moisture in just as fast as it's been taken out... There is little bit of this whole growing thing that you have to figure out for yourself...

I would turn your exhaust fan down a bit.. maybe keep some of that humidity in the tent.. or move the humidifier outside and suck the humid air in.
Other things you can do but don't work too well and could cause some other issues.. but mist the walls, add a bucket of water.. sometimes a fan blowing on a wet towel could work too.
Also, i would recommend 2 thermostats and ways to measure humidity.. this way you will know if the readings you get are right... sometimes cheap thermostats can be wonky.

Connecting 2 grow tentsI have a 16"x16" small tent next to a 48"x24"x72" tent. With 1 small plant in the small tent, is there anything wrong with ducting the air from the small tent to the bigger tent where my carbon filter is. Seperate intake and exhaust for each tent. I can't control temperature. I'm so discouraged.How are you guys keeping temperatures down!? I have an hlg 600 Rspec at 50% power and the Temps won't go below 81 degrees with the light on.
