Carbon filter needed

Do you really need a carbon filter only doing 2 at a time and the smell isn’t noticeable could do with out the filter and intake fan of the tent give me another 20cm to lift the lights.Lights at 35cm from top of tallest and running a 600w over that one still going to have exhaust

You don’t really need the carbon filter if you’re not worried about smell. You can always hook it up later if need be. But like @gmslave said, exhaust and fresh air is important so you should keep the fan running. Don’t sacrifice air exchange for a little more space.

Be responsible, invest in a filter. Even it’s it’s legal in your area, don’t be the jackass drawing attention to yourself. Healthy, dank plants stink late in flower. If that’s your goal, get a filter.

Exhaust and fresh air are two very important environmental elements. Be better to pull tall branches down a little and tie them to something, if you need more room. Cheers
