You can over water in DWC simply by not giving a 1” air space between the bottom of the plant basket and the top of the water. Autos don’t need to be topped, generally speaking, just bent to control growth. When young, seeding up to 2-3 weeks, the plant doesn’t need much light (about 25% power, working your way up to 50%), nutrients (about 300 ppm total), heat around 70 degrees F. As long as there are no mutations or other issues, the seedling should have a steady uneventful daily progression. Good luck with your grow my friend.

she needs a bit more air i think.. take away the foil, would be a good thing to start with it reflects heat more than light.. so it must be cooking underneath!! (could be also bc the fan is too close and/or the soil is too wet) And you have topped her when she is just 10 days? Thats way too young! and you should never top plants when they dont look right either (topping gives alot of stress)btw.. i hope she will still make it 🙏 goodluck!!👍

So I have found that sometimes in DWC if nutrients and pH are not right u get a algae or slime feeling on the roots. If so 1) use a flush and circulate for2-4hrs 2)Are your pots blac? If not paint the 3)Lightly mix your nutes at 50% strength. 4)Be patient and verify your water level is not to high. 5)Test pump and resurlation of ur system. You topped your plant at that size? Thats a real risky idea. Let me guess, because it's an auto and your time is limited? Siiiiiiiiiiiigh.....auto's....i just shake my head.

Light sounds too strong and you might need better aeration in dwc solution. Or solution level is too high. These can all make the leaves look like they are pressed down and sad looking. Should not of topped till you had them growing right. It is possible you could of stunned them between everything.

50cm at 70% seems way to intense for a plant not even 2 weeks old, unless I'm misunderstanding, and how big is your space? And you topped a plant that's 10 days old?
