The strain of this grow is unknown, i so happened to have a seed in my stash, if anyone could give hints as to what it could maybe be, that would be great. I also want to know if she isn’t a bit underdeveloped for a for week old plant transitioning to week 5 in a couple days.

Identifying the specific strain of a cannabis plant can be challenging, especially if you grew it from a random seed. Cannabis strains have distinct characteristics, including the appearance of the plant, leaves, and buds, as well as their aroma, flavor, and effects. However, without these cues, it's difficult to accurately determine the strain. You might have a better idea of the strain's characteristics as the plant matures and begins to flower. Regarding the age and development of your cannabis plant, it's essential to consider various factors that can affect growth, such as the plant's genetics, growing conditions, and care regimen. While your plant may seem underdeveloped for its age, it's important to keep in mind that growth rates can vary. Here are some factors to consider: Genetics: Different strains have varying growth patterns and timelines. Some strains grow faster and larger than others. Growing Conditions: The environment plays a significant role in plant development. Ensure your plant is receiving the right amount of light, nutrients, and appropriate temperature and humidity levels. Nutrition: Make sure your plant is receiving the necessary nutrients for its growth stage. Cannabis plants have specific nutrient requirements during vegetative and flowering stages. Lighting: Adequate and appropriate lighting is crucial for plant growth. If your plant isn't receiving sufficient light, it can affect its development. Pests and Diseases: Check for signs of pests or diseases, as these can hinder plant growth and development. pH and Watering: Ensure that the pH level of your growing medium is within the appropriate range, and water the plant appropriately. To help your plant develop optimally, consider the following: Review your care routine to ensure it's in line with the plant's growth stage. Check for signs of any issues, such as nutrient deficiencies or pests. Adjust your nutrient regimen as needed. Ensure your plant receives the right amount of light and environmental conditions. As your plant transitions to the flowering stage, it should exhibit more specific characteristics that might help you identify the strain, such as the appearance of buds and their aroma and flavor. Additionally, its growth may accelerate as it enters the flowering phase. Keep a close eye on your plant's development and make adjustments to your care routine as necessary to promote healthy growth.

Indica dominant hybrid is as about as close as anyone could guess as to the strain. About right for its age, but will need transplanting asap, that size pot is about the limit before stuning will occur.

Some take longer then others to take off. Indicas stay short and more bushy as well. Once a rootball is established it will flourish. Just make sure your not over watering or over feeding. Under watering and under feeding applies as well. Google a VPD chart it will show the Temps and humidity for each stage of life... stay in these parameters and your doing all you can, its all about genetics at that point. As others have said, buying seeds from breeders is a craps shoot, so bagseed can be even worse. It may be the next Sour diesel or strawberry cough and it may be a herm that fills with seed and is boom. Who knows! Give her the best chance and cross you fingers growmie. But nah man, she looks beautiful. Keep up the good work and good luck! 🙏

If you found a seed in a bag of weed you bought, then don't be surprized if that plant is a hermaphrodite. And if that picture is a seed that been sprouted and is just 7 days old, well, i just don't believe that. That seedling has got to be at least, at LEAST 10 to 14 days old. I've never had a seedling pop out of the soil surface and look like that after 7 days....never. But besides that, it looks just fine to me.

even if you know the strain it really matters which breeder it comes from. often they will buy an expensive clone then breed it with some plant of their own and call it the original strain name or a variation of it if trademarked etc etc.. so you really don't get a "northern light" plant you get some descendent of it. this stuff has beenmixe dup so much you can't even associate traits to "indica" or "sativa". it's all intermixed. that stuff was only correlated when it was separate gene pools. traits are freely moving things and interbreeding makes these labels more weakly correlated than the past. it's always a matter of how that particular plant develops. don't worry about labels. i've found a large chunk of expensive seed is the same cheap shit you get from white label breeders, lol. and some are just inbred to the point they grow poorly. it's impossible to know who has integrity and who does not. it can change by the month, lol.

It's cannabis, any guessing beyond that take with a grain of salt unless you remember what you were smoking. It's small for 4 weeks, but it's also in a tiny pot.
