Time to train?

Lst is the way to go imo. I train almost everything. And when I start it's usually around day 10 from seed. So yes your good to start anytime now. Sooner the better.

Since your growing an auto I wouldn't top it, it won't have enough time to recover from it,now for LST yes this is actually the right time to start.

Unless it's a pretty aggressive grower, I would advise against topping an auto. Believe it or not but your plant is probably about 2 weeks away from beginning it's transition to flower. It may not have time to rebound and grow much. Photoperiod plants are much more forgiving when it comes to HST like topping because you get to control the timing of it's cycles. If you want to try to break it's apectical dominance, train the plant to grow horizontal so your branches become "tops". That way you're not loosing precious growth at a critical stage.

She still looks a lil small. You should be waiting to find, top until you see really good growth from the plant. I topped my autos at node 8
