Am I right in thinking this is the tobacco mosaic virus? And if so, how bad will this affect yields?

I have only seen tmv once and yours looks similar to it but I'm quite confident that it's not it. Organoman says maybe pests so check your leaves for any bugs, use magnification to see if there are tiny bugs on or under the leaves, jungle barns says silica toxicity, so check your not going past the manufacturers recomended dose. It could just be some funky growth.

Unless you live next to fields of tobacco or smoke raw tobacco in your grow room, it is highly unlikely to be TMV.
Looks more like an insect infestation of some sort to me...........but I could be wrong!

I'm not going to lie to you after looking it up, it does look like TMV, unfortunately, I think anyone can tell you how bad it will affect the yields, but the virus will affect plant development, affecting yields and the quality of the buds.
