Defoliation can certainly help. Less leaves = less transpiration. Are you keeping your soil really wet? If so water less. Lowering the space temperature will slow down the transpiration rate and will decrease humidity. Not sure what you are using for extraction fan, but it might be wise to just run it constantly, or get a bigger fan that can move that humidity out quickly and keep it in check. Keeping the tent open will certainly lower the humidity, but you'll waste light and release all of the environment.

Defoliate 50% of your leaves, yes
Lower environment temperature (decreases transpiration rate)
Don't saturate your soil or leave any water laying around (a big full root zone needs saturation, but if your plants go 4 or more days without watering then reduce your water volume)
Invest in a bigger extraction fan
