Gonna put in 5 Autoflowers in this tent (12/12) for at least 1 week (to gain time). 20/4 after. Do you guys think it will have any noticble effect on the yield in the end? What you think about 1½ weeks? I would imagine that's the limit. Interested to hear your thoughts 😃🙏

One week shouldn't hurt, but...If you can put them under 20/4 right off the bat, I would go that route instead. Each week for autos is a big deal. If we only have 3-5 weeks of veg, it's best to give them the utmost optimal conditions in this time so our end-game yield won't be affected. If I slow my photo-periods down, no issue. I can just veg for longer to get to where I want to be. If you slow your auto for too long, there's no turning back or extra time to veg. It will be what it will be and flower as such, probably with a low yield (bud may be just perfect but there won't be much of it). Suggested to leave them be and plant them when you have the ability to throw them under a straight 20/4 cycle. I know that's not ideal and you're trying to save some time, but in another week you can be confident you won't be hurting your end game product/yield. Give me a shot in PM if you think there's anything else I can help you with. Cheers and good luck!

If its space that's for issue you can do what I do and move them into a temporary cupboard with cfl bulbs in. I have a 64w blue bulb thats awesome and great for seedlings as its not too intense 👍🌱

I do not recommend this. I think there would be a noticeable effect, but not one that you will enjoy. Autoflowers have different needs than photos, and reducing the light cycle in the beginning when it's a critical time of early development will hinder the plants full potential. I run my autoflowers start to finish with an 18/6 light cycle. Some even run their autos on a full 24 hour light cycle. I prefer to give them at least a little dose of downtime. With autoflowers having a limited veg time, it would be in your best interest to give them at least 18 hours. Then you'll be able to get the most out of your plant and be enjoying more delicious bud. 😋 Happy Growing, friend! ✌️💜🌱

Hi MagicUmbrella Don't do it to Autoflower Marijuana nothing you will gain. Only you will loose. Those so genetically modified Autoflowers want to run from the go. Tight schedule. You have only 3/4 weeks veg and pre veg combined. I never change my Autoflowers light cycle by more then 4 hours only once in life cycle if urgently needed because off circumstances Light Burn, room temperature to hot or low humidity. Hope this helps and good luck with your growth.

if autos are still seeds, starting their journey with 12/12 lighting would be a bad idea.first two weeks is the most crucial part of a grow.I wouldn't do that.If they are already plants,1 week won't be harsh but more than 1 week will definitely have effect on yield unless they are in the final part of flowering.
