Can Someone Please tell me what is going on here? I have a detailed diary if you have any thoughts on why it still looks like a Calcium Deficiency. Plant looks healthy except this. First time for coco (bagged & prebuffered), grow dots, and wick bases so I am at a loss.

Iv had a scan through your diary and I'd say end of week 6 into week 7 you started to get the problem. The problem may have started earlier but only started showing around them 2 weeks. The growth with calcium problems won't recover, your should be looking more at if its progressing. If its not progressing you may have got it sorted out, if it is progressing then the problem still persist. I haven't used AN nutes for a long time so can't quite remember what doses it says bit it does look like your giving the amount of calcium I would give. That leads me to think you PH may be out in the coco, check your runoff ph and if it's massively out from your input ph then that's your problem.

The relationship between calcium and magnesium is why you will always read Cal-mag and never alone. They are both dependent on each other for absorption and excretion. Magnesium plays a role in the transport of calcium (and potassium) ions across cell membranes. This is important for maintaining healthy processes related to nerves, muscles, and electric rhythm. Alongside calcium, magnesium also facilitates vital processes that enable plants to grow properly and create energy. These functions include: Growth: Without magnesium, plants would struggle to grow. The mineral fuels cell division, resulting in large plants and large yields. Magnesium really starts to struggle with uptake below a ph of 6, Calcium does a little better. It won't cease but it could diminish the magnesium uptake enough to affect the transportation of calcium. I can only think of it being more of a lockout due to PH I'd think. Try a water-soluble cal-mag supplement, I personally prefer NPK industries, apply foliar application see if it helps.

Not calcium deficiency, but burning from over fertilization. Slow release "grow dots" combined with other fertilizers is too much. There is no issue mixing organic and mineral fertilizers by the way.

Belgium Budz has some solid advice there on all points. I personally find that when I introduce too many new things at once into my grow it usually causes issues. I try and add/change one thing per grow, then can really see the differences that change makes weather it be good or bad.

Hey, I noticed a few things when looking at your diary 1. your mixing mineral and biological nutrients together and this is something I try to avoid,go all bio or all mineral When you feed with mineral nutrients the biolife of your soil gets destroyed so the grow dots won’t be broken down to useful feeding for your plants as in a pure biological soil 2.you are using ph perfect nutrition So there is no need to change the ph! These nutrients will mix in at the perfect ph for them to get absorbed by your plant, adding ph- or + will make them go out of balance, this can cause deficiencies and nutritional blockages Just mixup some feeding and go You could check the ph before you give so you know what you are giving but don’t adjust, tis is just to know at what ph level your flush water needs to be at the end of flower, I try to keep this all te same as the feedings 3. Looking at your plants I notice they are very dark green due to excess of nitrogen, this can cause also a nutrient block If I had this in my tent I would flush her today with just plain water at the same ph as your feeding Then I would let her dry out 1 day and the next day again plain water at the correct ph till there is a bit of runoff so I can check what is still in the coco,if the ec is still high only plain water and if it’s dropped below what I normally give I start again with a feed at normal dose Most common problem with new growers is that they try to hard to make big plant and cola’s You don’t need al those additives Just a good a-b mineral food is enough to get great results and you are less prone to get in trouble I used in my first grow only a root stimulant and an a-b nutrient and got 2 200g plants in a 3x3 It’s al about learning basic things first, like you first learned to walk before you could run 😁 But overall I think you’re doing a good job trying to keep them optimal 💪🏻 Happy growing
