Day 4 Banana popped up after 24 hours, the rest followed suit after an additional 24 hours. In hindsight, I wish I had buffered the coco with Calmagic prior. I forgot how much CoCo is need of extra calcium. 🍌also sprouted first and currently is the biggest. Temp 75 degrees. Humidity 55% Though watered to dry, somehow, my seedlings showed signs of being overwatered, especially the banana which is currently the biggest. Will report back after next fertigation Day 6 Refrained from watering for two days. Let cups become almost bone dry. Leaves seem less swollen and perked up more. The stems are less red and are showing signs of green. Hopefully this next feeding provides the calcium this coco is lacking 🤔🤔🤔 2nd feeding - 509 PPM 1082 EC 71deg PPM EC Temp (Drainage Readings) Banana 505 1072 75 Girl Scout Cookie 190 488 1038 72.5 G13 180 510 1080 71 Trainwreck 175 540 1148 73

Banana and Trainwreck taking off well which is very surprising considering those two accidentally fell over when planting germinated seed. Took me so long to find the seed among all the coco and perlite all over the ground. The G13 and Girl Scout Cookie were planted perfectly yet are having quite the start. In theory, maybe the cups thst spilled were more aerated and buffered as the others just had just water poured on top? Not sure. Banana has been strong since Day One. Other then the stem still not showing green, pretty decent start. Trainwreck is thriving and will most likely keep up with the Banana next to it. G13 started with two distorted leaves most likely from calcium deficiency. Then the second set, well... only one leaf grew. but it is a beauty. GSC started very strong. Color is a little pale and spotty making me think it needs more Nitrogen. Then second set altogether just hasn't grown. Light Green and small in color. May hit it with some Superthrive on next feeding (#5 or #6) Day 12 Update: Poor leaf development. Drainage Readings are on point. Not sure what the hell it is. Nutrient lockout? Trainwreck took off and surpassed the perpetual growing Banana which has showed signs of heavy, plump leaves of late. I believe the Banana is just facing some stress from the bending of the main stalk and the fan leaves are just too big blocking areas that need some sunlight. Will prune before setting up auto water. G13 is still showing some curling down on the leaves. Definitely a thinner leaf plant compared to the others. Over all, looking good. GSC finally showing some positive sides of new growth. Still way behind when comparing stem thickness and overall leaf growth, but may be out of the woods. What a start to the week... Finally got the auto water and auto drainage set up. First time testing it, I accidentally unplugged the wrong cord and my entire 8 gallon resovoir drained into the 4 plants in less then one minute... THANK GOD FOR COCO. Switched the lights from my T5 to the Mars Hydro 3000 LED. PAR is reading between 500-550 (not sure if the light is just bright or the leaves are showing signs of nutrient deficiency, but they seem much lighter in color). Did my first pruning to give the undergrowth more light. Banana is still not growing like it once was. Might bring down the base nutrients and increase the calmag and nitrogen... thoughts? 2/7 Day 28 Update. Since Scrog, Traunwreck has doubled in size. may need to get two LEDS and put more space between the plants by using the entire tent. Banana is starting to regain growth and structure ( I think it being so bushy, the leaves underneath weren't getting the light they needed on top of the bending most likely pinched or stubted other leaves growth. GSC wasn't meant to be topped and not even sure I did it right but it finally had a decent new top growth and I accidentally snapped it. We shall see if this creates two stems thst shoot out or not. G13 has shown signs from Day One it was a different strain than the rest. Thinner leaves that curl more than the others (must be nutrient issue), but really liking how the canopy is shaping out with this one

Unreal. It's been like a jungle in here. Finally had to separate my irrigation system because the plants needed to be moved as they already have filled my 4x4 space in exactly one month from Sprout. The trainwreck alone could fill the entire tent if I had the room. No matter which way I bend it, the underneath just comes through and creates another node site. Banana is starting to thrive again as is G13. Girl Scout Cookie is still sucking asscheeks. I stopped using the Cocos and House and Garden nutrients for it and went back to good ole GH Flora line + CaliMagic + Armor Si+ Hydroguard with a few dazhes of Superthrive. Let's see if plain and simple does the trick. The plants finally have room to breathe after using the entire 4x5 area. Unfortunately, waiting on 2 new LED lights so the GSC and G13 are under the T5 for now but all is well. Today is my 🎂 and I couldn't have a better gift than the ridiculous growth of these plants. 🙏👏 to high frequency fertigation and 🙌 to H&G line for CocoCoir. The growth is wild. Probably should have switched to flower 2 weeks ago had I known this but one more week and then it's flip time. Go Big or Go Home

Incredible bounce back for the GSC since switching to good ole fashion GH Micro, Grow, Bloom with a little Superthrive, CalMag, Hyrdoguard, and Diamond Nectar. I guess GSC just doesn't respond well to H&G. Other than that, I would have and should have flipped 2 weeks ago, but I will be away around the same time they would have been ready for harvest. Now I will probably need to set up another tent as I've already retransitioned twice and the Trainwreck is just taking over... Probably 18 potential top colas, Banana has about 15, G13 has about 16, and GSC has about 5 before i switch to flower at the end of the week.. Good problem to have I suppose. I plan to triple scrog as these girls are going to skyrocket and there will be no room to breathe in there. Also unable to tend to them for 4 days and I'm having a friend water them twice a day to keep up with my high frequency fertigation that hasn't failed me yet. Praying when I return in 4 days, they're doing just fine :) Update: Last day before the flip. Just got home and could not believe the growth in four days. It's possible my babysitter had the lights too dimmed and they stretched a bit, but either way, the sitter did a great job. Trimming this heavy forestry over next 2 days as well as starting 2nd scrog before I will flip the switch. What a phenomenal end to Veg Life. Cheers to Flower being as good if not better.

Little bit of a delay. Wanted to get climate perfect before the flip. Upgraded ventilation and have the tent dialed in well at 74 degrees and 60% humidity during day and 70deg/ 55% at night. Started a second scrog on Day 42. Nervous about the stretch but hopefully I can maintain it (I wish T5 lights could flower...) Did extensive trimming underneath clearing pretty much anything that will never reach the ceiling of green above it. Day 45 marks last day of Veg Day 46 marks first day of flower AND. HERE. WE. GO.

While Banana seems to be losing some nodes (Down to 13 from 16), Trainwreck and G13 have at least 26 nodes each going into week one of Flower. Girl Scout Cookie unfortunately is delayed again as I had to switch the feeding back to H&G while I was away. I have it back in the GH Floral line and strict hand feedings... she'll get there. Initially I turned the lights up on Day One of flower; the PAR was reading somewhere between 800-900 which I believe is optimal for budding but a little too much for Day One after the flip. You can tell they became a little bleached up top, so I turned them down to 650-800. Looking forward to the next 7-8 weeks. I absolutely suck at harvesting and using the mini 🔬to determine trichome readiness. I don't have a steady hand, and it takes me forever to see if it's clear, milky, or amber. I see a lot of people on here with some ridiculously amazing up close photos of even their trichomes. TAKING ALL SUGGESTIONS ON 📷 and/or additional methods to determine when the best time to harvest is. 2/24/21: Day 45 Marks Flip 3/3/21: Day 52 Starts Week 2 of 🌼 🌻 🌸 🌹 Update: 3/2/21 Moved the second scrog up to catch up with the stretch. Made 90 degree tie downs with Trainwreck and G13 to level them out with Banana and GSC. Speaking of, GSC is slowly getting there with hand feeding it basic GH Floral line..I'm told that strain generally grows on the smaller side anyhow. I had to refill my reservoir two days prior to the start of flowering week 2. Definitely a huge spike in my EC which tends to be anywhere from 1.55-1.75. The H&G Cocos A & B is asking for 7.5ml/gal during this week but I am feeding it 6.5. I also added Big Bud and Honey Chrome (I won it in a raffle) so why not. Long story long., my starting EC is at 2.02. Not to mention the ladies were already starting to show signs of their first tip burn in addition to I gave it its last foliar feed of Magic Green last night... safe to say, when I turn these lights on , I will be shocked if all "the shock" somehow ends up doing these plants well. Tune into Week 8 to see how they turned out as I will be taking the photo in about 50 minutes from now... If things look worse, I'll dial back on the mixing of the brands. just continue with the H&G line with the CalMag, Armor Si, Hydroguard additives - if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Coming right up... Day 53, Start of Week 2 of Flower....

🍻 to Week Two of 🌸🌺🌻!!! Looks like all is well. Scrogged & did my last foliar feed of Magic Green last night, the girls look upright and healthy as can be. Trainwreck still thriving. May nickname this plant Batman, seems impenetrable. G13 is responding crazy to the light... the sites under the light are a bright green, yet those far from light are dark green. Tough to say it's a nutrient problem as the plant looks healthy, just light in color. Banana was initially the bully of the group. If you look at the first two weeks of this plant, you'd think Trainwreck was her and vice versa. IMO, I think Trainwreck and G13 just teamed up and took over the tent leaving little space for Banana to expand its sites. This was my most anticipated grow, oh well, next time I'll grow it by itself and make sure that one plant fills the whole tent. Looking forward to the pistil production and 🤞 they all stay in schedule and are ready to harvest in about 7 more weeks which would be exactly April 20th.... Ta-Da!!! Day 56 Update (3/7/21): Trainwreck and G13 are nearing 30 inches tall while Banana is around 27 inches and GSC is 22 inches. Going to lightly trim on Day 58, and then a HEAVY SCROG & DEFOLIATION on Day 59, The start of Week 3 of Flower. Looking forward to seeing them bare naked and then bushy again... I hope 🤞🤞🤞 EC is much higher than I'd like it right now at 2.02, but the plants aren't showing any signs of stress. I may toss GSC and just give more room for G13 and Trainwreck to spread their canopies. but I've been catering to it for this long, might as well see it through.

Might get rid of GSC and just make more room for Trainwreck and G13 to spread. Going to do heavy defoliation for the first time tomorrow stripping everything underneath 2nd scrog and in between bud sites. Nervous it's going to really shock the plants but hopefully a handwatered feeding tomorrow helps keep it on track. Week Three of Flower... Baby Jesus, please give me the energy to continue watering twice a day for the next six weeks 🙏 Day 60 Update: Still some trimming to go but finally pulled the cord on GSC. Wish I had a while ago so the other plants could stretch more proper. Placed a riser under the Banana to even out the height. Going to tie down any tall sites and see if I can trigger a nice long cola down the scrog. G13 already has one forming nicely. If it withstands all that trimming with little to no shock, I will be impressed for sure.

Day 66/Day 22 of Flower: Finally made it to Week 4 of Flower which means I get to introduce BUD-XL to my nutrient line. Girls were hand fed tonight, saturated with fresh nutes. Tips were already showing signs of nutrient burn going into week 4, so without the former veg nutes, who knows how bad they're about to get. Question: I read defoliating throughout week 3 of flower is around the last time you should trim. I cleaned up the bottom real well, but do you think I trimmed too many fan leaves up top? A lot my bud sites have one fan leaves and the nodes under it have none at all? Throughout this grow, anytime, I've trimmed, it has had zero effect. I think that's because its receiving nutrients twice a day consistently. Regardless, should these leaves up top have stayed on to provide healthier sites or as an extra resource for food when needed? Thanks y'all! Day 69 Update (3/21): First time the grow has A burnt tips across the board. I read this is common during weeks 4-5 of flower, but I also know it can get out of hand real quick. I'll be measuring the runoff over next feeding and determine what the best course of action is. I believe for High Frequency Fertigation in Coco, you have to be careful how you dilute your substrate, and I also think you need to always include some type of Cal Mag in your water, even if just topping off reservoir. Going to be tricky as I enter into Week 5 where I'm supposed to add @House & Garden's Top Booster to my feeding line for a week. However, it's only one week, and after that, H&Gs line goes down considerably ( Pic in Gallery ) Question: Do I keep the nutrient line the same and increase fertigation, or do I dial down the nutrient strength? 3/24/21 Update: That does it for Week 4. Definite signs of nutrient burn with the tips and even some brown coloring leaves. I also don't think the buds are growing as fast as I see others by Week 4 and that's with four weeks of Big Bud and one week of Bud XL. I finally waved the white flag and topped off the reservoir with 2 gallons of fresh water and 2 ml of Cal Mag. Brought my intake down from 2.02 to 1.47 Brought my drainage down from 2.99 to 2.23. Debating on whether to give it one more diluted feed or make a fresh batch for week 5 where I'm supposed to add in Top Booster...Going to be a rough week trying to maintain any significant shock or stress to the plants with the nutrient changes/dilution. Come on Buds!!!! You've been doing so well, now fatten up! P.S. Is the video in the first slot of gallery working?

I read defoliating throughout week 3 of flower is around the last time you should trim. I cleaned up the bottom real well, but Do you think I trimmed too many fan leaves up top? A lot my bud sites have one fan leaves and the nodes under it have none at all?

Hi there, your plants look healthy and well trimmed. From now on, you shouldn’t stress them anymore and stressing them at late flowering stage can even lead to hermaphrodite or hermie.Let her grow happily until harvest.Happy growing... ✌️

High Frequency Fertigation in Coco, nutrient burn issue. I know I have to be careful w/ diluting substrate. Do I also need to always include some type of Cal Mag in my water, even if just topping off reservoir. Dial back nutes or increase fertigation frequency? H&G pic in gal

Hey there Kansas, I gotta admit I don’t know why you’re asking about this stuff seeing as how picture perfect everything is right now for you. If you’re worries about the burnt tips , you might as well dial back the NPK just a touch , but if you don’t the plant will muscle through it as it grows anyway. Same with the cal mag, yes you always need it , but you’re already adding it. So don’t stop. The fertigation frequency is less important following the wet dry cycle correctly . And you’re doing totally fine. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Welcome to Week Five of Flower. Made a batch of diluted nutrients (1/3 of the strength) and watered twice as normal. Got the EC down to 1.71 on the run off. It was near 3.00 last night. For the new reservoir, I also dialed back a bit with about 2/3 strength of normal feed. Intake: 1.60 EC / 5.80 PH / 67.5 Temp Runoff 1.80 EC / 5 65 PH / 68.5 Temp From this point forward, I may either increase the frequency of feeding to three times a day or experiment with topping off the reservoir with low nute solution to keep the run off from getting too high overtime. About the good stuff... Buds are finally starting to get a little bit bigger. Maybe there was a little lockout and the nutes weren't getting to the plants properly, maybe it's just the timing and everything is normal, maybe it's Maybelline... Can't really tell if the nutrient burn is looking better as the damage is already done. When I open the tent, I'm getting a real strong whiff of plant matter more so than buds. However when my fingers accidentally touch the buds while pruning away the dead stuff, they're instantly a little sticky and smell strong and absolutely delectable. I can see more pistils starting to pop out underneath the existing sites. I've been waiting for this to happen. Last week or so, I for sure thought I'd only have puffy tops... still not out of the woods yet, but looks like the girls bushes are starting to beef up. Thanks for tuning in...

Plants are giving off strong plant like smell rather than bud smell. Almost chlorophyll or ammonia like. Is the white residue on the leaves signs of mildew or does it look healthy and it's just sugar?

They look healthy and yes those are trichomes aka the frost or sugar on your leaves not mildew. The smell is also normal and will get stronger like more of a bud smell.

In a beginner grower pickle... they may look good, and though it seems I may have done everything right through veg, I am almost near sure I messed something up between flower weeks 2-5. They're maturing, but not nearly as much as I thought they would. By now, I imagined they'd have thick bushy white pistils covering at least 6-8 inches of the top of each Cola. So many mysteries. Is it the node spacing? If so, should have flipped earlier. Is it due to nutrient issues (too many nutes? didn't feed as much base as H&G suggested? Too big of a swing while trying to lower medium EC and PH in medium? Too much pruning on the top? The only real variable is the Banana Kush. BK is in the far back left and obviously the most difficult to reach and maintain. Initially last week when I flushed, I wasn't able to flush as adequately as other plants nor have I been able to trim, maintain, or LST as much as other two plants. This is the only plant as of right now that does not give off a chemical/nutrient/ammonia smell when I touch the buds, but rather a nice sweet, Banana smell, and it's bushier than the Trainwrexk and G13 Is it because I didn't trim.as much and the buds are feeding off leaf and stem nutrients? Is it because there are fewer bud sites for the light to concentrate on, and thus yield bigger colas? Or is it because I continued to feed this plant has continued to have a high intake of nutrient despite my best efforts of flushing and maintaing? In any event, I could just be the most impatient person ever, and I hope to be pleasantly surprised in the next week or so, or it's puffy popcorn tops for me. Day 85 Update: G13 has a ton of fan leaves turning fast. Pretty sure it's a PH issue. Should I wait until they're dead to trim them off or get rid of every fan leaf that is affected more than 50 percent of the leaf? Something definitely is going on. Could be nutes, could be lights, could be the strains.. who the hell knows but I thought they'd be much bigger and gurthy by now. They still look good but man I wish they produced more...

I Yi Yi. I really expected to see fatter and bushier buds by now, but I guess I did something wrong along the way. Could he Nute Lock out or maybe even lights. The PAR meter is reading at 1000 dead center and the rest are in between 500-900 which I read was optimal for flower. However, maybe because they're not 18 inches away, but 12, perhaps they're getting too much light. I don't know anymore. Should be 2-3 more weeks by now. Hopefully, I'm wrong... Day 93 Update: Banana is looking near ready for harvest and that makes the most sense because it's tucked in the corner and will be the biggest pain in the ass to trim if the other two in front aren't ready yet lol. Going to feed one more week with some Molasses, then flush abanana next week. Overall, they could be bushier but live, love, and learn.

Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.

Well, this is it. Wish I had bigger buds. Everything was moving in the right direction until the end. I switched the Mars Hydro 3000 out with two HLG 300s, so I could maintain the PAR just under 1000, but perhaps it wasn't enough. G13 is definitely not ready, and could benefit for a couple more weeks, but like a store liquidation, THEY ALL MUST GO NOW All in all, Learned a lot. No seeds, reveg, or signs of mold, so hopefully I'll make up for quantity with quality. Only Dry Time will Tell...

Can't believe how fast this plant took off after 2nd week of veg. It could have filled my entire 4x5 space. Had to harvest a little early but still produced nearly 4 oz. Tastes good, Smells Good

Started off on amazingly. Couldn't slow down. the growth if I tried, and then... I Guess I tried. The other two plants overpowered the tent and pushed Banana into the corner limiting production, but overall, great grow! I was looking most forward to this plant's growth, so a little disappointed it produced the least amount if bud, but wow, it looks amazing! Still have a few weeks of curing ahead of me, but Banana smells & tastes sweet & fruity!

This plant was a HUGE SUCCESS. nearly 9 ounces. I said from Week 6, this plant could have taken up the entire tent had it been the only one in there. Absolutely Amazing Turnout.
