What would you like to see out of my diary to improve it?
I don't want to post 50 pointless pictures in veg.
I really want to document the heights, growth and special nutrient needs because that is the most help for future reference for people. How much stretch is always good!

I would agree with you.
I feel as if an excessive amount of bud shots/ veg are not really useful, you just start to look at the same thing after a while.
I try to take pictures from an scientific approach, show off the entire set up and how its changed from week to week, individual plant shots to show growth from week to week,etc. I also like to take pics of stuff that interested me throughout the week that I would like to share AFTER the scientific pictures.
What you want to document is good for referencing and I would encourage more of that documentation throughout the community.

Normally what I'm looking for in a diary is to compare other people's grow of the same or similar strains to see how their plant looks at certain stages to compare. is it because they have better light or those nutrients. Or how high could she get? Or how much it smells? Or I'll use that method to train my plant next time. I'll raise my light a bit next time. I know what you're saying about some diaries that go picture crazy but hey some people just love photography too you know (not me😂) but the pictures are or can be extremely helpful.

Peoples likes pictures mostly to compare colours & shape of their own plants to something that they can use as a model to copy or to identify different types of phenotypes. Veg pictures can help too.

I totally agree with you as well... Day to day pictures can be pointless. It can be helpful when Diagnosing problems but in general experiences and thoughts is what I find more helpful. I think you've got the idea for sure.. I find veg a bit boring and I have a hard time writing things unless it's in flower lol.. But I'm more of a data guy then a pictures guy... Pictures can be very Deceiving :).

Is she harvest ready?Hi, i really like to harvest this plant shes on day 61 of flower, day 77 of 12/12 and 100 days in general.
Normally, i would harvest her, but i doubt because of the calyxxes grown by foxtailing shooting white pistils.

Pineapple express sativa/indica?I was given a clone of Pineapple express and the grower informed me it's an Indica . I always thought the strain was sativa and it's growing like a sativa. Curious if that's a known thing I'm not aware of , is there a indica strain of Pineapple express???
