Fastbuds Gelato Auto - Give nutrients or not?

Does this strain respond well to additional nutrients? In my experience most Auto's don't like them & tend to burn easily. After killing a bunch of them years ago I've just let them grow naturally in decent potting soil (with the exception of a bit of root booster). Anyone know?

Using loaded soil for the 1st few weeks u need no nutes Enzymes/root stim will be beneficial and help wit nutrition uptake You can add bat guano or some high bloom powders and add ons from some nute maker. Also there's many other products for taste such as sugars and so on normal soil won't hv 2 provide 2 ur plant. I'd advise if u want 2 give nutes. Get an organic nutrient line thst takes a few weeks to fully kick in such as Alga line from plagron. Then there's Xpert Nutrients, great mineral / organic dedicated weed nutes. Silica, master root & enzymes can be given from the jump as they've no ec npk wise they just stims, /zyms. Also then there's resin/taste enhancers such as sticky fingers, sugar shot and their core npk nutes Good

Autos can grow with low nutrition is true. I would still add a bloom booster in flowering to give her the proper nutrition needed for cola development. In you previous experiences if you were adding feed and not getting run off with each feeding. Thar would of been the issue. From way your describing what they did. Vegging npk ratio is 3-1-2, flowering npk ratio is 1-2-3

You are fairly correct in your observations mate as long as the potting mix has the required nutrients for most of the grow then all you will need is a calmag supplement and If it was me also some mycorrhizae and kelp solution for optimum root growth and health
