I find occasionally such wet shiny spots on leaves. Any idea what the root cause and how to fix it? They are not sticky although look like. I cannot say whether they smell because smell of the leaf is too strong 😶 I can rub them off with the thumb with no sign

do you tent to over water your plants? Could be a GUTTATION, water drops from plants leaves caused by overwatering. Part of the transpiration processes, they can also do this if they are stressed or just do it for fun. As long as their is no signs of bests on the underside like mites I would not think to much about it.

Sweat from overlapping leaves.....not an issue to be worried about.

Just because we are now either not bothering to see what others have already answered or purposely plagiarising then I'll guess it's condensation caused by a microclimate high in rh. Was it where leaves overlap? Defoliate a bit , bend the leaves so they aren't touching or increase airflow. Dehumidifying

condensation where the leaf was overlapping. RH is higher around the leaf and teh temperature is cooler... condensation is something to be avoided. get more circulation or amp up the dehumidifier a notch. take RH meaasurements within the canopy and assume leaf temps are 3-5C cooler than ambient due to evaporation that occurs from transpiration.

How high is your relative humidity at nighttime? I have the same problem when I have large fluctuations of rh between night and day, when in flower get the temps up at night and this should not happen again,in veg I don’t mind it that much, You can always do a little bits of defoliation in the parts where it frequently happens to get more airflow going on

that's sweat caused by leaves laying over one another and not properly ventilated :)
