It all depends on what size and type pot you will wind up using. I wont comment on when it is a seedling and what temporary container you are using. When you transfer you seedling into its permanent pot (gal size?), water sparingly (one US qt.) around the seedling so you don't collapse the soil around it, before it can really take root. Stick your finger into the soil to around your second knuckle to see if it needs more watering. Once it is in a few weeks of veg, you should increase water delivery to you see it coming out from the bottom or sides( if fabric pots). For example: I use three gallon fabric pots in a grow box. I will use a whole gallon of water or water/nutes, pretty much every three days on each pot. It is just enough to run out the bottom/sides to reduce any accumulated salts or other brine from the soil. This is a dialed in process and works every time, as long as the temperatures are kept within the proper range. GOOD LUCK

It is way easier to water when using a pot just the right size for the plant. Next time start with party cups. Too much water and the plant will have a hard time taking oxygen and thus growing. For starters, give it 50 cc of water every 4 to 5 days, once you notice the plant is taking 2 days to use that much water, double the amount of water, rince and repeat. DO NOT SOAK THE WHOLE POT.

Best way to water a seedling that size is to mist around the plant with a spray bottle. Just enough to moisten the soil around the stem. Then slowly increase the diameter of the area you water as the leaves spread out. You can start actually pouring water around the end of week 2. Good luck

Hello my friend 😉 By following these few simple tips you will get an optimal result throughout your culture: Cannabis is a plant that does not like to receive a continuous light watering. It is imperative to water it in large quantities, then wait until the soil is dry before watering again!👍 To calculate the amount of water needed for each plant, follow this rule: The volume of water to be donated during each watering should represent at least about a quarter of the volume of the pot!! Examples: for a 1L jar, give 0.25L of water with each watering for a 4L jar, give 1L of water with each watering for a 12L jar, give 3L of water with each watering for a 30L jar, give 7.5L of water with each watering!👍 To give such a volume of water, it is often necessary to water in half (see three) times, slowly and evenly over the entire surface. Arrange good cups under the pots, these will fill with water that will rise in the pot by capillarity in less than a day. It is also very important to use a good quality soil, with a good water retention capacity but which also ensures good drainage (this must contain perlite, and/or coconut, etc.). Once you've done this watering, you can see that your pots weigh very heavy, and are difficult to move. You must now wait a few days by regularly underweighting the jars with your arms. When they are very light again, you can water again!! Because water weighs much heavier than soil, a waterlogged pot weighs several times the weight of a pot of a plant ready to be watered. With a little training, you will learn very quickly to underweight your pots to know when a plant is thirsty. It is a technique that is both very easy and very effective, and can be applied to all potted plants!👍 Good luck for your grow 🤞🌱 May the force be with you 💪

I usually start with half a glass every two days for the first five days, then I start with a glass and so on. In few time you'll be able to understand when your plant needs more water. When you will give more water I recommend you to check the weight of your pot when dry to understand when she's ready for watering. There are many ways of watering you can start like this and then find your own way. I usually don't give more than a liter before 4 weeks. Good luck I'm now following your diary ☀️☀️
