The city has been under blue skies through this week. The plant in the grow tent could not see the skies, but she would never cry, since she does not know anything more than Optic 1 for now... For my first grow in my life, Northern Lights Auto should be the best strain for they usually grow easy. Put in darkness, she germinates under a sheet of moistened gauze in less than 72 hours. She migrates on the bed of compost and starts to grow in a day. The first time I come across the cannabis is soon after a diagnosis of depression. The person in white tells me that I should be in rest and drink some serotonin interceptors but not take any "illegal" drugs including cannabis. In question, I google a bit on the effect of the cannabis and buy some online. Once I smoke a hit, they liberate my reason from Kleshas in a completely peaceful way. There are two problems on the online cannabis shopping; one is legal and the other is financial. Unfortunately the cannabis is prohibited by the government in these area today. The price of the cannabis per gram seems much higher than the most part of the world. Thus growing by myself is a solution. Since the police always desire their drug-hunting quota to be satisfied, I could not write so much about my environment. Also I could not upload so many pictures as the others do. Every time I look at the inside of the tent I find her outstanding development. Now she has four or more wings to fly with. Tiny ivory bugs, probably collembolans, dance on the bed of compost and on the pot. Such small friends of the soil help with nourishing her. Recently I ask my father if he has ever smoked cannabis. He says yes, and that he was stoned almost everyday when he was traveling around Pakistan several decades ago. "In the lodge they pass and smoke joints every night. Why can't you be a stoner then?" He does not oppose the usage of cannabis but tells me not to smoke in public spaces even in legalized states. In contrast to his tolerance toward the cannabis, the authority tries to oppress peaceful cannabis users by arresting, punishing, and discriminating against them. The oppression is not because of any chemical feature of the cannabis but of its deep-rooted prejudice on the plant, since most scientists say that cannabis users are not likely to harm the others. "Liberty consists in being able to do anything that does not harm others: thus, the exercise of the natural rights of every man has no bounds other than those that ensure to the other members of society the enjoyment of these same rights." Growing a cannabis plant gets more and more satisfying everyday as her accelerating development appears. Her leaves look green and in good health. No harmful bug, including spider mite, is found at the moment but the tiny ivory dancers are. Her stem gets thicker and taller. Some of her roots develop beyond the pot to several centimeter order. I wonder if I could scan the structure of her roots so that I could observe her growing status more clearly. I find a faint herb-like flavor of her, although it does not seem to escape from the inside of the tent. Now I ponder whether and when additional nutrients should be installed. A friend of mine tells me that I need not append any further nutrient since she is planted on the bed of compost containing sufficient quantity of elements. I would like to ask you the GrowDiaries users for your suggestion. Any comments are welcome. These days I consider the flight from the state. After I complete my current work and the situation of society is settled, there shall be no reason for me to stay in the totalitarianism. Fortunately I have a sufficient amount of cash to migrate overseas. Most cannabis users in the state, however, would not escape for their cultural, social, and financial concerns. The only way for them to survive safe is to reform it. I hope the legalization or decriminalization of the cannabis be achieved in a decade, yet it is almost in despair. Anyway I keep on growing the plant in the state until the day of flight comes. Is any additional nutrient necessary for her? If necessary, could you please tell me what kind(s) of nutrient is suitable to make her buds larger and more effective?

hey there , during veg in soil the best thing to remember is less is more, you do want in general three categories of nutrients at all times : NPK, cal mag and a chelation agent. NPK is basic fertiliser, you're looking for a ration similar to 2-1-1 in veg and 1-2-2 for the NPK respectively, it will be displayed like this on the label. cal mag is necessary for cannabis even in soil. it turns out these "high quality genetics" just cant live optimally with naturally occurring cal mag. finally the chelation agent, this is what breaks down long chains of nutrients into smaller chains that are bio available to the plant. this can be humic and fluvic acid or beneficial bacteria, try canna boost or biobizz top max , greatwhite or hydroguard for the beneficial bacteria. Then you want to pace these : do one feed for every two plain water waterings minimum. follow this pace and you'll have commercial grade product . hope this helps ! 🚀

I have been surprised of the vitality of the plant so many times. She would drink an astonishing amount of water everyday. Her leaves would look green and stretched. I have had no fear on her growth until the day. The day before yesterday, 2020-09-25, I look the inside of the tent as an everyday routine. Suddenly my eyes are glued on her body with strange yellow leaves and slightly brown stems. She apparently cries out for help. Alarmed, I start my rescue operation to get her back healthy as soon as possible. First I write a question on GrowDiaries to investigate the cause of her sickness (see https://growdiaries.com/grow-questions/22484-why-are-leaves-yellow for detail). Veteran growers suggest several causes and solutions. In addition a friend of mine told me to bring her into a larger pot. I decide to perform three solutions on her. First I stop watering for a day until the soil dries out. Her leaves, however, does not turn green but yellow to a larger extent. Second I transplant her into a larger 6.1 litre pot. In the course of the migration procedure I find her roots spanning across the bottom of the pot, demonstrating that a 2.5 litre pot is no longer suitable but too small for her glamorous body. After moving her I install some nutrients for the first time. Slightly pink-colored, diluted Dutch Formula shower is poured on her. I expect this sweet rain save her from the situation. "If you love someone, set them free." In the city of New Leningrad, 2020-09-27. To Luna91, simps, Mr_Weeds_Autos, and LaBossaNova, Thanks a lot for your advice. Unfortunately I could not find Cal-Mag and Flora Series within the state. Discussing with a friend of mine, an experienced cannabis grower, I determined to install Dutch Formula series instead. Now the amount of the nutrients is kept smaller than written on the bottles, whereas I plan to make it slightly larger as she grows. Aussi, je ne parle pas Français couramment!

The time is come in bloom. From every end of her stems, white wool-like parts of flower are developed with their peculiar smells. Fortunately she begin to thrive again in spite of her sickness (see my comment on week 4 for detail). Her leaves still look green, bright, and full of vitality. Now she drinks a surprising amount of water containing Dutch Formula nutrients in several minutes. The cocktail is composed by the recipe for vegetation periods, whereas it is planned to be modified for flowering periods next week. My only concern at the moment is that some of her leaves look curly as shown in the photos above. I would like your comment, of the GrowDiaries users, on this. Recently I find myself satisfied in the labour itself to take care of her, even though it requires considerable amount of time. In the beginning my interest is in the strong effect of her buds to liberate my mind in depression. As the growth goes, however, the simple fact encourages me that I do have an effect on nature as well. She is a mirror; I am a weak, stupid human being with a lot of deficiencies, yet still one which exists on the world, as her growth clearly demonstrates. Should it make any difference whether her buds turn sweet or sour in the end? "Though its colour be not deep and its smell be faint, use this flower in thy service and pluck it while there is time." heat or too much nutrients can cause 'canoeing' looks less like nutes to me without coinciding symptoms, unless more easily seen than in picture etc.. Also, i see it's >80F? 85+ is typically entering grey zone of potential danger. try raising humidity and the plant can handle a higher temperature without doing that... there's a limit to how much that'll help too.. consult a VPD chart -- google images or check my comments section of the gd.com profile here... it is hosted here, so no 3rd-party web site invovled. i credit where i got it from... want to say perfect grower? it's in the comments.

Her season in bloom goes on. Her flowers look much larger than those in the last week. Her stems get longer and thicker as well. She smells a weak perfume. Now the problem is that some parts of her leaves turn brown and curling inwards. I suspect the light distance would be too small at first, yet her leaves still look problematic even after the distance is enlarged. I also think of the pH status of nutrients, but seems no problem for it reads approximately 6.6 on the meter. As a friend of mine tells me that the nutrient density may be too large, now I give her a flush with fresh water. Today I need not take serotonin interceptors for my daily life. This must not be because of any usage of the cannabis since actually I do not use them these days. In my thought that is because I find a lot of friends helping me online. Ironically I am now illegal hence no longer an alien. The situation of the city looks neither degraded nor dignified. Most people in the city are undoubtedly diligent, but conservative to an astonishing extent where it comes to the matter of the cannabis. They say it makes us insane, its usage is the point of no return, and anyone who use once is no longer human. They show no mercy to us even though we do not violate any of their rights. Their stance against the cannabis should demonstrate the success of the governmental propaganda. I would not like to return a verdict to them in the city; the authority should be tried. Week 7 is somewhat troublesome for me. She might have more leaves and larger flowers than the last week. Her leaves does not look in good health throughout the week, however. The problem is that they turn brown and curling inwards to a larger extent. Giving a flush does not seem a solution for it. Now the density of nutrients is managed small, yet no good sign appears. I would like your help by the GrowDiaries users. Any suggestion is appreciated. Recently I see some people getting mad for money in the cannabis business in the state. They behave like kings of the "liberation" of the cannabis, whereas they betray other peaceful smokers by exploiting them into committing crimes other than the cannabis such as fraud, laundering dirty money, assault and battery, etc. They must not think of the liberty of the cannabis smokers but the number of banknotes they have. They make me furious, yet my question is, shall their Machiavellian principles be native, a consequence of the current social mood of intolerance, or both? Now I have no idea to answer it. "Reason has always existed, but not always in a reasonable form." In the city of New Leningrad, 2020-10-18. To NobodysBuds, Danski, 2020Grower, TopDrippinPimp, and MartyMcRob Thanks a lot for your advice. Now heat stress might be relaxed because of enlarged lamp-to-plant distance and cool weather these days. The amount of nutrients are reduced as well. Unfortunately I still find her leaves in bad health. I keep on trying for her and need more information, so please write down anything you think on it.

Some leaves turn brown as in the photo. Leaves in the middle turn brown first, then bottom leaves. Now I try making larger lamp-to-plant distance and feeding less nutrients, but no good sign appears. Other conditions are stated in my diary. Why do you think it is?

you are having a ph issue in turn is creating a lock out. how to fix is easy, flush until your run off ph is at a 6.0, let the pot dry out for a few days, as when you flushed you are using water to clear out what is in the grow medium. after the pot has dried out probably 2 days , feed at half of what you have been feeding and add cal mag to the mix, makes sure to keep your ph in line. also when you flush pick your pot up so you know how much weight your plant has when full. last pick or cut off the damaged leaves, they will not return and by keeping them you could possibly get mold. so any dead or dying leaves should come off. hope this helps

Week 8 begins with transplanting her from 6.1 litre to 3 gallon pot. No nutrient is poured on her in order to avoid burning and remove fertilizers. Fortunately the area of her leaves turning brown does not look enlarged this week. Her buds look larger and sweeter. Trichomes on her flowers seem larger as well. Time to harvest her must come within a week. Recently I think of what strain is suitable for the next. Cannatonic or Harlequin might be good for they are effective on depression and apathy. I would like your recommendation on the GrowDiaries. Any comment is appreciated. Now I look forward to taste her flower next week. "Oh, don’t you want to go to that gospel feast. Her buds apparently look larger than any time in the past. I find her herby smell stronger as well. Fresh water is poured once every three days in order to get rid of chemicals. I remove some brown-colored fan leaves for the sake of trimming routine. Her trichomes might turn ivory in the week. Last week I had to focus on my daily work; no time for my diary. My depression mostly gets better these days, but sometimes I feel lack of energy as well as some exhausted feelings. Now I drink much more alcohol than last month. I would like to grow a medical strain applicable onto my disease for the next season. Also I look for someone with whom I share my love and buds, on which I have poured all my love for weeks! Once I take a hit I find my heartbeat getting faster. I feel less anxiety, but more sensitivity for environmental noises. Its overall effect seems to neutralize my mind. There are some adverse effects such as lack of memory and feeling like enclosed in the building. Strong cigarette-like smells, so a little caution might be necessary.

The time is come to harvest her. Her buds’ surface looks full of ivory trichomes. Crossing myself, her thickest stem is scissored in seconds. It takes two hours to trim her buds. My house is filled with a herby smell. Now drying them is in progress. A lot of lessons are obtained through the growing cycle. So many helpful growers are found on the GrowDiaries. Every single advice enlightens me every time. I find myself know virtually nothing on how to realise my love. What I actually need is the wisdom to love her. She looks nice! I really enjoy the unique way you have to write your diary. Depression is a bitch, I know that too, but I have to admit that growing my babies has been the best anti-depressant I ever used. I hate to admit it but my addiction to cannabis is probably the major reason I always feels depressed so be careful with that treatment yes? It sure helps, but it can be a double bladed weapon, a very vicious circle. Always remember, this too shall pass. Happy growing!
