Last Defoliation

Hey Grow Community,
My Autos are now 7 weeks old and from other diaries I saw people Defoliating extremely in the last weeks to the point when theres almost only the buds with some smaller and sugar leaves. My question is, should I do one last defoliation, and if yes, when?

Late defoliation is mainly to either: eliminate moisture pockets that could contribute to bud rot in the last weeks or during the last week more of a total strip down in prep for harvest. A lot of people confuse the harvest prep for a general defoliation, don't strip a plant naked unless you're about to chop. If you have several weeks left, leave some foliage. Harvest prep defols are just to save you some time trimming later. The plants will dry faster with fewer leaves, depending on conditions in your dry space that could be good or bad.

At this point I would just leave the majority of them on to finish out strong.
Typically when you go to harvest, that is when you take all the big fan leaves off. Some people say to leave everything on and some say to remove the fan leaves. Personally I just hate when the fan leaf dries up covering the bud during the dry process. I think it will lead to mold issues.

Trimming around buds pre week 14I’m wondering.. should I be trimming the leaves around the buds so the buds get more light? It just occurred to me that I don’t see all those leaves on other diaries? Will the trichomes on my Herbies Ape Fruit Auto ever change to cloudy or has something 'stopped' in the mature buds?What's up with my Ape Fruit Auto? While still glassy, the colour of the flower is "leaking" up the trichomes from their base, i.e., the 'head' of the trichome is still clear but there's a bleedthrough of flower colour up the 'stem'. Co2 or not if growing for rosinIs co2 worth it if the goal is to make rosin? I am thinking about fresh freezing all of this and making dry ice hash rosin. Is co2 a waste if the goal is rosin? It doesn't help trics, just vegetation, so I may end up lighter, but that should affect rosin yield, should it?Week 1

Should I do a pre harvest defoliation a week before harvest?What are the benefits and consequences of defoliating a week before harvest? Is it good or bad? I have tons of foliage up top and need it to go away. It's too late in flower, but a week before will open up the canopy to the lower bud sites. Any and all help is welcome. Thanks!2y ago
