Is it time to chop? I posted her on Reddit and people are like "you're way over, it's foxtailing and you need to chop ASAP!" As you can see there's still white pistils on the top most of the biggest colas. I also have scope photos of the trichomes in the diary.

Fox tailing can be a genetic thing. In some strains no matter what you do, thats how they look. its not always quite that bad though, But its not caused by leaving a bud too late for harvest. Thats bullshit. Tell those nobs on reddit who said its foxtailing cause its over to piss off. And some sativas even from same pack of seeds can take longer than others to finish up by up to a week.. Basically expect up yo 14 weeks in flower for a real sativa heavy lady. Anything under is a bonus, most newer strains these days can be done in 12 weeks or even a week less, no probs. But the older school ones like your strain....yeah your gonna be waiting a while longer my friend. it will be worth it thou, promise. Just be patient and dont rush her now. She needs time as much as water and nutes. unless u have found a nute brand that has bottled time and is selling it, u cant rush a sativa. I swear even when they look ready they usually aint ready!! your looking min 12 weeks for her ok. MIN. now I looked at your grow, and your first 2 weeks of flower, were not flower. u may have changed the lights, but she wasnt in flower yet. week 2 of flower she was still in pre flower. so ur week count is off by at least two weeks. Taking that into account your right on track alrite? She has about ten days left give or take a few days. 14 weeks for maui waui isnt uncommon at all. So if you knock off those first two weeks of flower, shes only going to be a few days over the 14 week timeline- not a bad job at all.

From the amount of white pistils, you still have a week or three to go. I usually harvest when there are 98-99% brown pistils. The long flowering and re-flowering is a common trait with sativa heavy strains and if you want her to hurry up and finish, changing your light to 11/13 will give her the message that time is up. Leaving her at 12/12 tells her there is still time to keep re-flowering, another common trait of sativas. Looks delicious though! Hope this helps, Organoman.

Rarely seen such a long bloom. But in your diary you can see that she really takes her time with everyone. The flowering phases are all very long. So you have to give her the time too. But it's still strange... that's nature.
