@Grey_Wolf I wanted to know exactly how I can make it predominantly sativa. Do you have any material I can read on the subject? I know a friend made crosses and his plants produce seeds even without the presence of a male or hermaphrodite in the grow. What could that be?

I have done a lot of crosses with all different kinds of strains and have never had an issue with poor quality. Nothing wrong with throwing a couple random strains together and seeing what happens. It doesn't take much care for a plant to produce good seeds after being pollinated. And it always fun to watch a breeding project diary! Good luck

@bobh2 There is incompatibility as far as crossing cannabis strains goes but there are some things to think about such as where you will be growing the cross you make & what sort of environment are you breeding it to grow in. do you want an indica dominant hybrid or a sativa dominant hybrid , Perhaps you may want to try for a 50/50 hybrid? These are the things that you need to figure out first. then move onto traits you want to have in your crosses such as smell taste colour yield and potency . But for all Ive read and learned so far I reccomend you start with with two different IBL regular strains and pick a male and a female and do some crossing then grow those seeds and pick out another male and female that have the best traits then cross them
