Too Tall Small buds

My last auto grows shot up at 3rd week of veg and kept growing vertical up to the lights until the tent couldn't contain them, so I had to top them. And the buds were all small & larf. 5g bags / soil & peat mix biobizz nutes on self-watering bases. no pics What did I do wrong?

The plants will stretch for the light.They say its best to let autos grow up to the light which is what I do with autos but yours have obviously stretched too much. Did you get a guide with the light. It would of been best to bend the top of the plant rather than chop but I guess that's too late now.

train them or top them within that first 3 weeks. normally around week 2 or so like day 20, they start to take off and grow more vigourously. if the plant seems super happy and healthy, try topping during that perioud or you can just use lst but after the transition period into flower or when there are buds forming, do not mess with the plant structure.
or if youre in a situation like yours again. then try to super crop and bend the branches into a 90 degree angle instead of topping which will remove future top colas. once flower is fully under way, she wont grow more branches and leaves.

Harvest in 2 times, seeking advice, top big branch/buds first and then lowerNow 7 days from harvest. 3 plants with cloudy tricomes, no spottted ambar it's fine.
Is necessary to harvest in 2 times? Give a week more for the bottom "popcorn" buds and the third plant, shorter in shadow?
Should I cut whole largest branches entirely, or cut all at same height

sehr unterschiedliches WachstumDie Rechte hört nicht auf in die Höhe zu wachsen mehrere Zentimeter täglich! Sie ist mittlerweile über 70 Zentimeter hoch und langsam kann ich die Lampe nicht mehr höher hängen. Die Linke hingegen wächst fast garnicht mehr und sieht auch etwas traurig aus. Beide gleich alt. Light spectrum and stressBy switching between LED spectrum: Would the plants stress out ?
The veg spectrum only was producing too much stretch due to lamp being not close, imo. So started using both spectrum and the light intensity is way higher now.
Also they get some sun light due to tent position.
