This really depends on how the plant is growing. If it is a super healthy fast grower then I would top it. If not then low stress training is the way to go. You can gently bend the main stem and tie it over to keep it shorter with a more even canopy. And as a last resort for a plant that just shoots up out of control you can supercrop it. This is where you roll the stem between your fingers to soften it then make a 90 degree bend to stunt it's upward growth. This should only be used as a last resort though.

If you plan only 4 weeks veg LST suits for you! I fell in love with mainlining technique which is perfect to fill all the space inside the tent with same height plants but it needs at least 6 weeks of veg, if you are interested in it you can give an eye to my diary :)

How many watts do I need for my small tent?I am using a full spectrum LED that draws only 30W from the wall but it might be too weak since my plant is getting lanky. She's getting too tall!2x2x4 tent, flipped to 12/12 A week ago, and removed my LST plant ties at the same time to make watering easier. She's getting tall though, and now I'm thinking of putting the ties back on. Will that even help? Should I try something else? the pics are about 1 week apart

Brown spots on autos. Halfway thru week 5. Also, stretching rlly bad, under same conditions Brown spots? It's on the plant on the left. Both the same strain, and autos, but I topped the one on the left. Its been growing too quickly tbh and just wanted to try to have an even canopy. Been feeding them fox farms veg nutes. Different sizes of plants : light power and distance to the plant choices My babies have different sizes from 25 to 16 cm. What is better ? : a strong light (Dimmed 60% of a 205 led) far away from the plants (46cm for the closer ones and 57cm for the smallest plants) or or a more moderate light (dimmed at 40%) but closer (from 35cm to 46cm) Thx so much

Plant too big for growbox Long story short, I overshot my container size, and now I have plant that is outgrowing my box. I cannot move it, so the only options are to manage the growth or kill it. 1 week in veg no new leaves yet?Is there anything else I can do to make the true leaves come out or do I just have to be patient? It is literally at the window silk at the moment. No lamps used. It only has the 2 true leaves from when it popped out of the ground last week.
