Today, the strong wind broke off some branches of my Northern Lights. The plant is already far along, and the trichomes are almost all milky. Can I dry the buds already, or are they not usable?
Well, a "little" is definitely true. Dry it slowly and let it cure if necessary, but don't try it before drying, just in case it doesn't taste good.
PS: If it bends again and isn't completely broken, you can "tape" or "splint" it, and usually with a bit of luck, it will grow back together and stronger.
Best regards
Heyho,
of course you can dry them already
and get a "short" impression
of where the journey is headed.
If in doubt, they are suitable for checking for mold,
foreign bodies, pests, etc. under the microscope.
Not usable, but definitely not!
