The top calyx sample was taken. Trichome pictures tell you how many weeks to the harvest? Flowering time day 36.

i'm still seeing all clears at this point. the difference between milky and clear is quite noticeable so you'll be able to tell. Only thing i can say is that some genetics instead of being milky white they get a really light beige which is more difficult to spot but these genetics are not known for that, so you're actually safe. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hey gardener! The photos of the trichomes can't help you figure out how many weeks until you harvest, but they will tell you if the trichomes are mature or not to know if your harvest should happen in the next few days or not. We're looking for between 70 and 90% white trichomes to harvest. In about 3 weeks, you can start asking yourself this question. Good luck, bella ciao!

hi there, it looks mostly milky, some clear, some few amber to me, so i would still wait for a few days, until more are amber..

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Just had a quick look at your dairy and see she's only flowering for 4-5wks so just past half way to finish line.. A couple of things will tell u she's ready.. 1st look at her pistols.. U want a gud 2/3rds gone from white to brown/red.. The glands those pistels come out from shud have swollen up(size depending on strains).. Wen u hit these to stages tgats wen u check for her trichome development.. At present she has alot of clear caps on trichs.. Eventually they will turn milky then amber-most ppl aim to harvest wen u av 100% cloudy/milky trichs and maybe a few amber (10%)..the more amber trichs u let her develop the more heavy set stone she will induce.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

Hey, you’re likely about half way through flower depending on the strain. Using Trichrome images to determine when it is ready for harvest is exactly what you should do. As the plant gets closer to harvest the tips of the trichromes will start to turn cloudy and then amber. When you harvest depends on the type of effect you are looking for. I like an energetic high that kicks in quickly so I normally look for ~10% amber trichromes. If you are looking for more of a couch lock you are gonna want more, typically around 30%. But it is all a personal preference. Expire tomorrow a little! Happy growing and good luck!
