How much can i yield with a 240 watt led? Its my first grow with a led light and ive read everything from 0.5 - 3g per watt. I know it depends a lot on how good of a farmer you are, but what are your experiences?

My experience with organic soil and fertilizers Is around 1g per watt, when you do things correctly and improve yourself over time it can go up to 1.5g per watt. But for beginners id say anything between 0.8-1.1g per watt is realistic. However if you make mistakes and or have some problems with fungus or insects, it can be way less. Wish you good luck!

You can expect around a gram per watt if you know your stuff and you have a decent pheno.

at least 10 pounds. of course i am joking, but honestly i know how hard it is to when growing to think about yield. I want you to first start to reject this mentality of yield, and just focus on quality. You can grow a pound of decent, but man i would rather have an ounce of fire. Quality over quantity mentality, its all good to think about it, but dont let this get in the way of you learning and ultimately improving the quality of the medicine you can grow. Much love and respect! I look forward to seeing you improve your quality and let the rest speak for itself.

I just harvested for my first time. I grew in 3 gallons coco and perlite. Uses floraflex nutes. I had a GrowLightScience progrow1800 670w led. It ran at 80% most of the time. So 540w true power. I yielded 10oz off 2x sour stomper 7oz off 1xMango smile 4oz off 1x Strawberry Gorilla 2-3oz off 1x Jammy dodgers #2 It's not dried or weighed yet. All my grow was put on here. So 23oz minimum maybe 24oz. That's 1.2g per watt used. It's a realistic number that I can definitely beat next time. Hope this helped. This is all my personal experience, of my first ever harvest of 5 plants in one 4x4 within the last two weeks. Please select me as the answer so I can be entered for a chance to win grower of the month contest 🙏 your support would be truly appreciated growmie.

Efficacy of light and utilizing space are the factors here. you could get 2g/watt from one light and 1.5 from another, all other things remaining the same, simply due to efficacy difference in lights. cheap lights you'll probably max out at 1-1.33g/w where as more efficientlights you may max out > 1.5g/w ... if you add co2, that can boost you further. genetics are also a big factor. high yielding plants will do better, obviously.
