My tent is 32"x32"x63". I've only ever done one plant at a time. This time I am attempting to share the tent with a hydroponic grow in a 5-gallon bucket. I normally grow soil in a 5-gallon smart pot. Should I use a 3-gallon instead? Last grow the 1 hydro filled the tent.

@burnerac Hi mate I think you should stick to the 5 gallon but your gonna need to train and grow them both differently then the last time simply because you are attempting two plants rather than one I would think about LST and maybe a scrog net to help contain them also your gonna need to be able to feed the soil plant and change the nute solution in the hydro one so dont forget to leave room for that to be able to take place also consider airflow as if the tent is too crowded you can get "hotspots" that could create issues Any way I wish you luck šŸ‘

if you are going to make feminized plants it is easier than automatic plants control how much they grow by the hours of light. but if a hydro plant filled you all over the tent I think itā€™s better to do it in a 5 gallon pot and start before on soil some few weeks until start hydro, itā€™s safe to play. good luck in your grow mate

Unfortunately the hydro plant will probably suffocate the soil plant out in that situation because it will probably grow much faster. If you are going to do it, I would use the 5 gallon so the plant has a better chance of keeping up with the hydro. Good luck!
