Do I have a Hermie?

Fleetwood
Fleetwoodstarted grow question 4 years ago
I have two girls from seeds from last year's outback crop. They are two absolutely different growing phenotypes. The one I called bastard #2 was stretching and stretching and I've done a lot of training with it and I just noticed these little balls forming under the buds.

It's quite hard to tell in that light but the best advice I could give would be to snip it and have a look inside. If you see an under developed seed then its bad luck my friend. But I would consider all possibilities isolate "pardon the pun" the plant if possible straight away if its in your flower room. Further to that triple check for light leaks this is the main cause of herming I have read. I've had 2 plants from reputable breeders herm on me but it turned out to be my own stupidity and a cut corners kind of attitude. I'm sure more growers here will give you a much better answer but from what i can see if you have flipped the lights and are in the first 2 weeks of bloom then id be sure it is not bud formation this early but you can never rule it out. It could just be a random mutation. If you dont know the pheno you not got much to compare it too but still I hope some of the move experienced growers than me have a much more in depth answer.

It was hard to tell if there were seeds starting or not, but it was in with another girl, and I had some clones from her, so I ditched them all for at least 1 good plant and more certain lineage later. Will start some Autos for quick returns to make up for the loss of her.
