Fast flowering few branches

Batata
Batatastarted grow question 9 days ago
She grew quite tall (38 cm) but does not have many branches. She went into flowering quite fast (4th week) so i guess she missed another week of veg. I think i under watered it one day which caused it to flower, does that make sense?

It's all about light my friend. The more light those side branchs get wile developing makes them grow larger. If your growing in a small space with a small light like 100w or something it doesn't really give you any light hitting the plant from the sides when you grow in a large tent with a larger light each plant is getting lights hitting it from all directions instead of directly about. Maybe next time when the plant is still small prop something under one side the pot and have the plant sit tilted so the side the ppant gets more light and switch sides every few days. Also when plant is smaller you can cut the 30% tips off the fan leaves letting more light get down

Autos have a short period b4 they flower so you have to make sure not to stunt their growth in any way as a seedling or they turn out small also could of just got an auto that doesn't grow very big. I suggest you get some photo seeds and grow they for about 40 to 45 days then flip them you will get a nice medium size plant way more bud sites than that Take it as a lesson good luck you will fig it put don't

next time use feminized photoperiods, you have more control since you can decide how long to keep them vegetatively with 18 hours of light and you can send them into flowering simply by moving the timer to 12/12

I think this is pretty common. Flowering at 4 weeks is pretty normal. This is why I’ve yet to grow an auto. Seeing so many others grow them with such little control puts me off. I doubt you’re doing anything wrong, it’s just being an auto.

38cm isn't very tall really but it should still get bigger. It's pretty average for autos to begin flowering in the 3-4 week range. Then the stretch hits and if everything is in check it doubles or even triples in size over the next few weeks. Light+warmth+proper feeding=success.

No that doesnt make sense, some girls develop different. Hold on and keep her comfortableThe autos are like jack and the bean stock grow where they fall, i get it hard to crop it, thems the dice ya role. Not as much fiddling ability compared to photo. Mostly cause them buggers is going how they want all energy is spent specifically cant divert and change length of growth to make up for stresses. It looks good though all in all i think you will get this rockin.

Autos don't always follow a ridged schedule. The pot size might be part of the equasion on why it flowered.bad feeding habbits, stress, root damage can also be triggers for early flowering. Just grow photoperiods indoors and save autos for outdoors if your end of season is really wet and cold like mine.

It’s flowering because it wants to not because of your irrigation habits. Autos do what they want and sometimes they start flowering faster than we’d like. So strap in and enjoy the ride.
