New white pistils close to harvesting

Hello, I have new pistils that appeared a few days ago only on the top buds. I planned on harvesting in 7 to 10 days max May look like foxtailing or not... Temps is 23°C so may not be heat stress. PPFD is about 600 so may not be light stress either Is it normal? What could it be?

It is just one last push to get pollinated before it dies and is quite common/normal. I would be harvesting soon though, 5 days max. Personally, she looks like my ideal harvest maturity right now.

thats normal, the pistils take the pollen for seeds and thats the plant's biggest goal, to get somehow fertilized, that why they push pistils even in the end. Don't worry and go for the trichomes!

I'd just keep foocusing on the bulk... 600ppfd without hours of operation is half the equation. over 12h, i agree, ut if this is an autoflower on 18h operation, 600ppfd is near max, if not above, for ambient co2. Could be the light in that context, but even if true could still be mostly caused by a genetic predisposition, too. This is an insiginifican portion of your yield, so i wouldn't sacrifice anything for it. Harvest when you intended to based on amount of amber you see elsewhere.

Hello mate, that's nothing to worry about, it's normal. I nature the intensity of the light get low going to Setptember/October so you should simulate this condition to not see the new buds forming. Good luck and happy harvest!!

Probably strain related. I also have it on my older Wedding Cake Auto started 4 days ago and my Temp and PPDF is also about in the your range. I also did a personal observation but it's just mt opinion and is fonded just on my observations. I saw that when an Auto plant has more nutrients then she needs in late flower it always kind of happens. But it could be also strain related or something in my setup. Not sure about it 😁 I think that if you are in the breeders specified range for harvest and you are keeping a close eye on the thricomes like you do, you'll be alright🌱👍😁 Keep up the good work🌱💚

Hey jeannoTapin! It is quite normal i guess, could happen because of heatstress / lightstress, but is could also be genetics. As the plant didn‘t get pollinated and is getting to an end of her lifecycle, it pushes out a last few pistils to get the last chance of reproduction… Whish you a great finish of the grow and a nice harvest! :)
