I feel like CREE is just a brand that is producing COB chip. It's well known that CREE chips was the best and are tending to stay the best even in a market in constant change so my opinion is : If you can get a COB led with a CREE chip then it's all good BUT i am highly recommending you to search for the best cree chip to buy for horticultural use with google.

Cree Leds are Cobs.. Cob led means Chip On Board. Samsung 301s are technically speaking COB led. When shopping For cobs compare Umols, Coverage and Height. Cheaper COB leds with Great warranties and Fantastic outputs are out there. https://www.digikey.ca/en/articles/the-basics-of-chip-on-board-cob-leds

Is it too late for scrog and have I had the light too low during the veg stage?So I noticed pistils appearing and now I'm worried that I've had my light too low during veg (~8k lux). Is it too late for scrog at this point or will they continue to grow? I've now bumped the light up to 22K lux should I lower the light to increase the intensity even more? TIA
