Hey growmie, welcome aboard — and damn, that’s a nice first plant! Drying doesn’t have to be complicated. Here’s the easy, no stress way to do it: Hang the plant or branches upside down in a dark room or closet Try to keep it around 20°C and 55–60% humidity You can throw a small fan in there, just not blowing directly on the buds, just enough to keep air moving After about a week or two, check the little stems, if they snap instead of bend, it’s ready for the next step trimming + curing If the air’s too dry where you live, a damp towel or open bowl of water nearby can help raise humidity. You don’t need fancy gear, just a quiet, dark space with stable temp and air. Keep it chill and don’t rush it. Slow dry = smoother smoke later. Once you hit that point, let us know, happy to help with curing next. 🤞🍀♥️

Not much info on your diary but I think these could do with a week or two more You should know. You say it's your first grow but the other looks more commercial.

Grow tent with exhaust fan with oscillating fan get one of those mesh drying racks When you harvest buds do a wet trim and trim all sugar leaves and everything off and put buds in mesh drying racks Get mason jars and little things that keep track of humidity When drying buds in tent try and keep temps close to 60deg and humidity 60percent Let buds dry till they are crisp You will probably have to put them in and out the jars a few times till there dry enough make sure to get humidity in jars down below 60percent then every day for 2 weeks or so open jars up for 20min or so and move nugs around and waft some fresh air in the jar when buds get closer to 50% humidity then you can start opening the jar less and less I like to get mine down to about 40% then I leave them in the jars and don’t open them for awaile then I start opening them 1 time a day in a room with 60% humidity and then I bring the humidity in the jars back up to around 50% slowly Every one had a different way honestly it’s a trial and error thing that no one can really explain to you When you 1st put buds in mason jars make sure to check on the buds every hour or so for the 1st day there in jars if they start to smell of musk or the buds get all damp again after being in a closed jar for a bit then you need to take them back out and let them dry longer. You would be surprised how fast wet buds in a jar will start to smell really bad

You're going to hear A LOT of opinions. The cutting-edge of cannabis research is on drying, curing, and trichome head preservation optimization right now as we speak. There is a patented device using a novel methodology for curing and drying for the plant. The entire summary or lesson from said device is TO BE GENTLE. This mostly includes the use of compressor-driven ACs and dehumidifiers (these huge forced rapid changes in vapor pressure really terrorize your trichomes]. The summary is that dew point and temperature is what you should be targeting. If you can't afford a cannatrol or cannot make one yourself...then Get your enviornment as consistent as possible. Stay below 60% RH ambient and have as steady of a temperature as possible. If you MUST use compressor-driven devices then use a lung-room style design. If you can keep those buds at a constant ~65F and forcibly keep the humidity right below 60%, then you're gonna be looking at a nice slow dry that takes about 10-12 days anywhere in the world. Low and slow is the key here. Don't start mistreating your plants by depriving them of water prior. You want this process as gentle as possible to maximize the chlorphyll and whatnot that off-gas. If you do mess it up, your flower will be harsh/taste like hay/possibly crackle/etc. A long cure can fix most mistakes in dry, but a good dry makes a dank cure easy and quick...
