How to proceed?

Dear grower, I am curious whether it’s smart to lollipop. Since she doesn’t have too many big leaves. Her leaves are relatively small but abundantly growing. I believe this is mostly a phenotype thing.

Timing is tough to recommend. If the plant is unfamiliar, it really makes a difference how long it grows after it enters flower as far as when to lollipop and not hurt your yield. You do it too late and you potentially cut off good buds, and if too early, you end up with more larf than you want. Don't think it improves your yield. At best it helps eliminate larf and hopefully if done at the right time, some of that is redistributed flower growth. On super-stretchers, lollipop to 2-3 nodes on each cola about 5-7 days into flower (if autoflower, around the time you see preflowers). If it's a regular 2x stretcher, lollipop around flip. With strong ligths and not over-crowding the canopy, should have 18-24" long stack of nice buds - not larf. Don't exceed 3-4 colas per sq ft and keep them level. Even the 2-3 nodes part of that suggestion depends. I consider how much of a branch has formed and space to handle it in future. I don't want moreo than 2-4 larger side branches. I use a scrog to keep base of plants low, so once in position i usually take off the first branch or two above the scrog and everything below it. leaves are small... did you defoliate? That tends to cause small leaves because all the mature growth gets cut off for no benefit whatsoever. Don't defoliate just to defoliate and you won't have tiny leaves. Like others said, i don't think there's any point at this stage for this plant picturered. Maybe if something in the central lower area is incredibly shielded or will cause congestion, so if you do cut something off be very selective. once the buds sites are forming, it really won't redistribute anything, if that is even a thing, so it'd just be removing yield.

Since your plant is already in week 10 of an autoflower, it's too late to lollipop at this point. That type of pruning is best done earlier, during late veg or the first stretch weeks (around week 4–6 for most autos). At this stage, removing lower growth would only stress the plant and reduce energy available for bud finishing. You can still gently tuck or remove a few fan leaves if they’re completely blocking airflow or light, but don’t do any heavy stripping now. Just focus on maintaining stability so she can finish strong.

When a plant has fewer leaves, it's generally best to avoid lollipopping. Lollipopping is a pruning technique that removes the lower branches and leaves to encourage growth in the upper part of the plant. However, if a plant already has a limited number of leaves, removing even more can stress the plant and reduce its ability to photosynthesize, which is essential for growth and development. Lollipopping can be a beneficial technique for increasing yield when done correctly. By removing the lower branches and leaves, the plant can focus its energy on developing the top buds, leading to larger and more potent flowers. Additionally, lollipopping improves airflow around the plant, reducing the risk of mold and mildew growth. In my opinion you probably should just let the plant ride out how it is especially if it’s not packed into a tent with a bunch of other plants if the plant is getting good life lighting and even if it’s not the greatest side light and I don’t mean actual side lights I just mean how much light is hitting the sides of the plant cause if you have plants packed in wall to wall the side don’t get light… also your plant is not that tall so your light should be able to penitrate all the way thru the whole plant. Personally I would just focus on reading up on drying and curing and getting all the stuff you need now being prepared does a lot Also I would focus on getting the lighting down you want to keep increasing light until about the end of week 7 then slowly decrease it just a little bit making the plant think fall is coming and ripen up Also remember to be patient don’t harvest to early you will just wind up with stuff that barely gets you high and you just give it away But a jewelry scoop now so you can check the tricombs don’t wait till you deciding to harvest it not Also if you have a hard time deciding when to harvest just snap a bunch of photos and make a new question on here ppl will steer you right for the most part Now don’t get me wrong if you want to experiment go for it but I’d be careful how much you cut away sense it’s a small plant Your doing a great job don’t stress to much remember to have fun Good luck

Hey growmie, you could lollipop now or give her another week, either works. If she’s still stretching, waiting a bit might help you see which lowers are really worth keeping. When you do it, just keep it light — maybe take a few of the lowest leaves and weak growth that won’t get light later. Just a cleanup to help her focus up top. She’s lookin’ good either way — trust your eye, you’re close
