When I bend the bud and hear it snap from the stem is usually when I then trim and start curring the buds. One day I may bend a bud and it not snap the day after it may snap, I find in my environment it can take between 11 and 16 days of drying before I get the snap.

I have a philosophy that works excellently. As you know, the best way to dry weed is in a cool environment. However, you often can't control the temperature very well - but you can control the RH. That's why I ALWAYS dry at VPD 0.9kPa, which ideally means 18°C @ 50%RH. The buds go into the jar on the day they start to smell good again. You hang the plant to dry (it smells good), then you dry it as slowly and coolly as possible (after a few days it starts to smell a bit like hay - you might need to gently squeeze the buds), and a few days later it starts to smell like terps again. That's exactly when you pack it into the jar. 👽

There's no exact discription due to the different type of bud drying will give a different finish feel.. Feel me
