In general, you should carefully check for pests when growing outdoors. I believe several things come into play here: 1. Fertilization. If you're already using a LightMix, you MUST fertilize from a certain point onward. In an emergency, a simple tomato fertilizer or some compost will suffice, but the LightMix runs out relatively quickly. If you don't want to worry about it, next time use AllMix or GrowMix (depending on the brand), as it is pre-fertilized more strongly. It's best to fill the pot with AllMix and then put some LightMix in the middle where you plant, so the young plant isn't over-fertilized right away. 2. Too little water. Yes, as a beginner, you often water too much, but if you're using BioBizz products, your grow is basically organic, which means your substrate should remain consistently moist (not soggy) so that the nutrients in the soil are available to the plant. That's why you should never let it dry out completely and instead water a little more often but with less each time. 3. Thrips If you've already seen some, it's time to take action quickly. Just Google it; there are many methods from chemicals to sticky traps to beneficial insects. I would completely remove the lower leaves as a preventive measure and take good care of the plant (follow the tips above).
