Yes I did it and I had a better terpenes because profile but not the THC level or at least it wasn't noticable . , the 1st time I did it I didn't let a fan or a air extractor and after 48h my weed was full of mold so since I've not doing it without a good aire circulation.

There is a good YouTube video of a guy doing experiments with thc lab results on this subject and from his data 24-48 hour darkness did improve terpenes, flavour and thc% but after this it deminished slightly 🌱👍buds are looking great though!

I also feel its urban legend. I tried it once and didnt notice a thing. If you want to do anything to boost your thc and resin levels, the only proven way is with UVB lighting supplements, but that will cost about $100 to get the ballast and bulb and you need to run it from about 2 to 3 weeks after you switch to 12/12. I even stopped flushing before harvest, I havent noticed a difference in bud quality but I dont overfeed and burn my plants. Problem with cannabis growing is it's a long time guerilla activity with lots of wives tales and not much data to back it.

I tried doing 48hrs darkness, but nothing visually happened. Except my fan leaves wilted a little, as the extra 48, bypassed my next scheduled watering. Did my buds get any more swollen/sticky, it was GG#4, so really hard to tell. I vote myth, awaiting more evidence from someone who swears by it.
