m0useanswered grow question 5 years ago If it's left over coir as in "new/unused medium" your good. If it's from a previous grow and was used to plant in "spent medium", its risky. The time released nutrients question part will depend what strength they are, their concentration and how heavy of a feeder the new plant(s) will be. If this is your normal coir setup, and its mixed in the correct ratio of coir to nutrients, it will be good to go. If you watered the leftovers I'd dry it out a lot and watch for moulds. Airtight containers would be bad, just poke a few pin holes in the top of the bag or leave the lid ajar. When the medium is spent and used, it gets a more complicated. I'd use it for an outdoor grow but not an indoor unless I freshened it up a bit in the sun and made sure it was clean and free of acquired pests/disease/fungus/moulds.
