Hello I'm currently in the 10th day of vegetation. I notice the discoloration of the leaves. Daily conditions are: 25-26C, 60-70%, lights at 400-500umol. Night 20-22c 50%. Plants were 2x watered 0.5L and 0.7L ec 1.2. pH 6.0 I'm using prebufered Atami coco. Any idea?

cocoforcannabis.com -- guides and articles are a great resource of reputable suggestions and information. Avoid the forums. That, like very other pot site, is rife with bro science. i'd recommend a different soilless base. Coco comes with greater risk of issues than other options, like spagnum peat moxx. Both requires 'some' drainage amednments to get optimal gas:water mixture in the pot. This is not an advantage of either option as most say... whatever coco can do, other soilless mediums can match.. and reputable intiial studies do show advantages for sphagnum peat moss base - see dr bugbee on youtube. coco is fine and the human eye will not tell the difference plant to plant. if you get a bad batch, you'll have a bunch of sickly and possibly dead plants, though. so, stick to reputable brands of coco. coco is also not environmentally friendly no matter how much someonen repeats that nonsense. the amount of fresh water wasted and the runoff of fertilizers to buffer it so it doesn't kill your plants is a serious environmental concern.

if it doesn't progress on the leaves - just inconsistent pigmentation - then it is 'variegation' and not related to anything you can control if it is progressing, it's damage mosty on the veins vs interveinal, so i'd agree it's potentially a rootzone issue. watering too often? Are you allowing top layer to dry? This is coco coir? I'd fix your irrigaiton habits first. Always fertilize. Always give enough water to get a minimum 10% runoff. This prevents buildup over time and allows you to control a consistent level of nutes around the roots. This means any nutrition related issue yousee is 100% solved through adjusting your formula and eliminates other causes. Allow proper dryback and repeat. I'd suggest a good wet-dry cycle early and in flower you can fertigate a bit more frequently after you trained thick, deep roots. roots turn toward greater moisture. watering with insufficient amounts leads to superficial roots and less root growth -- plant doesn't grow thick roots if water is too abundant. Fix these habits, first. It may solve all your problems. Do not whimsically choose the volume of water to give.. .you give what it takes to get 10% runoff. if you wait for similar dryback each time, you learn the volume necessary in hinsight only, which you can then plan for in future to reduce waste.

Magnesium Chlorosis Check the soil first, to see if your output from the drain is about the same than your water input at pH 6.0 and EC 1.2. If the soil levels are correct, it’s because of to intense light. The plant is receiving more light than it can handle, Magnesium Chlorosis(*) is a symptom of a photoinhibition(*). (*) Search to understand the process Magnesium is the central ion surrounded and attached to 4 nitrogen atoms in the photosynthesis molecule. It gets used up at first during the photosynthesis process.
