Wk 6 flower. Think I have potassium deficiency. I have been adding ton o bud 0-10-5 and a kelp booster 0-0-2. Looks like it is getting worse, not better. Soil is amended with Gaia green. Had some power bloom 2-8-4 last week. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello, I assume your late 6th week. This could be the fade starting. Is this your first run of this strain how many days of flower are you anticipating. Remember even if you didn't chop them they would still die. This is nearing the natural end of its life cycle. It should look partially dead.

Salam Ph_cubed! 👋 Welcome to Week 6 of flower, Habibi! 🌸 You are looking at pale leaves and brown spots and thinking, "She is hungry, she needs more food!" But let's look at this through the lens of Modern Engineering to see what is actually happening chemically in your soil. 🛠️ 1. The Nutrient Traffic Jam (Antagonism): 🛑 You are currently stacking Gaia Green soil (which is already amended), Gaia Green Power Bloom (2-8-4), Ton O Bud (0-10-5), AND Kelp (0-0-2). That is an absolutely massive, overwhelming amount of Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). In plant chemistry, minerals compete for space in the roots. When you overload the soil with extreme levels of Potassium and Phosphorus, it physically blocks the roots from absorbing Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc. This is called nutrient antagonism. 2. The "False" Deficiency: 📉 Because your plant is suddenly locked out of Calcium and Magnesium, the leaves turn pale yellow and develop dark brown, crispy, necrotic spots. It looks like a deficiency, so your grower's instinct is to feed her even more. But you are actually dealing with a severe Toxicity/Lockout. By adding more Ton O Bud and Kelp, you are making the lockout much worse! Your Rescue Protocol: 🚑 Stop All Feeding: Put all the bottles and dry amendments away immediately. Your soil is heavily loaded and has more than enough food to get you to harvest. The Cleanse: For the next week or two, give her strictly plain, pH-balanced water (around 6.5). You need to flush away those excess soluble salts from the Ton O Bud so the osmotic pressure drops and the roots can start drinking Calcium again. 💧 Trust the Soil: Gaia Green takes a week or two to break down. That Power Bloom you added last week hasn't even fully hit the roots yet. Let the soil microbes do their job! Back away from the PK boosters, give her plain water, and let her recover. You still have time to pull a great harvest! 🚀 Happy Growing! 💚

Nitrogen die-back (not enough N during first 3 weeks of 12/12 cycle). Understand that, roots stop processing N by week 4 of 12/12 cycle to focus on P-K, from this point your plant will run on its own stock of N. And P-K over feeding , not deficiency. Adding nutrients must be done wisely using an EC/TDS meter. Understand that, passed the 1200-1300 ppm roots osmotic pressure start to reverse, your plant fluids are being sucked out by the media.

If your soil pH is above 6.5, the excess P is even more likely to lock out iron and zinc. A temporary fix is to use a foliar spray containing micronutrients (iron, zinc, manganese) to bypass the root-level lockout. Not deficient, antagonized.

I would cut the crispy bits off before before they dry up right tight up inside the buds and end up with bud rot.. Seen it happen plenty. Good luck

This looks more like burning than any sort of defiency to me.................seemingly a common problem with people who use the "fertilizer" (GG) that you are using............seen it many, many times over the years on this forum when people are using GG. Liquid fertilizers are far more controlable and customizabale than any sort of dry amendmant. Salt build up due to not getting run off each time you irrigate may also be a contributing factor. Having the plant pots sitting in saucers and then letting them suck up the run off would definitely contribute to a salt build up...............if you are letting this occur. Whatever the reason/s, there will be no time to "fix" anything before harvest, but I would be dialling back the feeding and ensuring thorough watering in future. Remember too, any symptoms showing in the leaves, are a direct reflection of what was happening in the root zone 2-3 weeks ago.............meaning any changes you make, will take 2-3 weeks before showing any changes in the leaves.

Looks liek some are having an issue with N. Some do have symptoms of k-def -- and based on ratios of the fertilizer you use, very possible. Too much P and proportionally too little k. But that needs to take into account what is in the soil... A p-tox could inhibit N and K, too. visible symptoms are not discrete. you need more info and a little experience helps if systematic and consistent about what your methods.
