Twisted grow of leaves

I'm a little worried about the twisted growth of the leaves of my Tropicana Cookies Auto by Fastbuds. A YouTube viewer mentioned that this could be due to genetics in Fastbuds. So I looked at my old grows. Yes, they all have it, just not as pronounced! What do you think?
Solved
Leaves. Twisted

Hey, I get why you're a bit concerned, but honestly this doesn’t look like a real problem to me. Looking at your plant, the overall structure is actually really nice. The training looks clean, spacing is good, and the plant itself looks healthy in terms of color and vigor. The twisted or slightly deformed leaves you’re seeing can come from a few things, especially since you mentioned your previous runs had it too, just less pronounced. If it was something like pH issues, nutrient problems, or environmental stress, you’d usually see more symptoms like discoloration, burnt tips, spotting, or stunted growth. Your plant isn’t showing any of that. A couple of minor things it could also be influenced by: - Slight light stress if the lamp is a bit intense or too close - Minor fluctuations in watering or root zone conditions - Maybe raise humidity a bitBut again, nothing here screams “problem” - I use in the Vegetaionphase a value between 65 and 70 % RLV round about. New growth looks fine, and that’s always the most important indicator. I hope I can help and cheer you up. Happy Growing! 😊

Too wet for too long + leaf removal = issues. It is not related to genetics.

I have grown for @Fast_Buds , their fast flowering photoperiodic cultivars. I did not have this problem… You can ask at @fast_buds_jessie or @Fast_Buds_Jerry if you want help. From your diary : 250ml + Neem day 1, 250ml day 3, 500ml day 5, 500ml day 7 1l day 10, 1l day 12, 2l day 14 2l day 19 2l day 23, 2l day 26 You are just overwatering your plant…. if it were genetics, you'd see it happen as it grows (but not limited to genetics as stated below) and not a reaction to "something." This doesn't look related to genetics. PEople like to blame outside sources rather than their own behaviour. This is one of the faults of anecdotes. Some are great, many are just misunderstandings and attributing cause to the most convenient option that isn't their own actions. Accountability is in short supply. You've done LST? It's pretty severe LST. This can sometimes cause oddities in leaf growth, temporarily. Is what you see consistently happening after the extreme training - probably grows out of it shortly after? That would eliminate the guesswork if it consistently plays out like that. if it happens while the leaves form it's more likely a shifting pH causing varying growth rates which causes the odd leaf shape. worth mentioning - climate. temp and rh being wildly off could cause some odd leaf behaviour, too. watering habits do look a bit suspect based on drying pattern seen. is that a soil? Always fully satruate. Never partially water or you will train superficial roots and cause potential oddities in rootzone related to nutrition concentration. it's a probability not a gaurantee, but bad watering habits lead to problems consistently.

Lack of turgor pressure to keep leafs in satellite formation. Daytime transpiration is low, not much osmosis happening for one reason or another, plus your plant will be under extreme stress from training. Sharp 90-degree bends in hydraulic systems (including plant hydraulic systems) significantly increase flow resistance by causing turbulence and flow separation, which forces the system to work harder to move the same amount of fluid. These sharp bends act as local or "minor" losses (which can be substantial). Fabric pot with blanket top waterings can easily compress soil above a point. Any dead spots of moisture, any oversaturation or disruption of the flow of moisture. Either your medium is bottlenecked or the air around your plant is consitently too high daytime rh, letting rh sit too high all night. Looks like you defoliated the plant, so its no surprise she doesn't have the stomata to perform gas exchange at a rate high enough..... like trying to blow up 20 balloons at once you only have the '"pressure" to blow a few. Pointless defoliation, plant turgor pressure is fundamentally driven by osmosis, which creates the hydrostatic pressure necessary for plant rigidity and gas exchange plays a big part more that. Reason we don't remove the big leaves is they are the workhorse doing a majority of the work. Gluck.
