Would you prune these?

Im in third week of flower now and my plant has a few earlier side branches as thin as in the picture. Would you prune these or still wait for them to grow higher. This plant is a bit troublesome in growing but it also has a few much thicker branches as you can see in the diary.

The smaller side branches that get some light are fine to keep but remove all the larf (i..e. all the new growth points below canopy and the new forming side branches on the small side branches)

Plant is looking good! Week 3 Flower is actually a preferred time to do one last trimming. You can take those off and the plant will be much better off. There is no set time to defoliate and prune but just want to avoid when plant is in its 2 week stretch.

Prune that stuff. Save the nutrients and growth for the top buds. Your instinct is right. 🎃

Congestion or too deep in canopy are 2 good reasons to prune something off.

I would feed less nitrogen for a week or so, that's first. If you do bubble or eatables, i would leave all, your lights looks very strong, so that one more point for leaving bottoms.

At week 3 of flower, yes, I'd remove them. Thin lower branches that sit in the shade and stay weak usually only make small popcorn buds, and they take energy from the top colas. Cut them cleanly at the base with sterile scissors, and do it in one session now, not later, because after week 3-4 the plant is no longer in the stretch and healing takes longer. Don't remove thick healthy branches or too many leaves at once. If a thin branch is already near the light and has good bud sites, you can keep it and support it with a soft tie. A rule of thumb: cut anything below the point where the canopy gets enough light, since it will not catch up in the remaining weeks
