Experienced Defoliation User Question

Wondering if I should continue to remove new growths, especially at the bottom after the heavy Defoliation I did a few days ago on my flowering set? Looking for people who regularly use Defoliation on their autos. Do you see better results pulling new growth on bud development?

Is it time for light defoliation?These plants are all 4 almost 5 weeks since seed. Top leaves on the large one at the back are shadowing those beneath it. A couple leaves at the bottom are extremely limp due to not receiving enough light. Is it time for a light defoliation? How do I distinguish which leaves?

Taking "Homemade/D.I.Y Humidifier" suggestions, What has worked best for you if you don't have the funds or additional power needs to add a legit humidifier to a grow tent? Anything along the lines of classic bowl of water/wet towel tricks, small MacGyver style set ups, etc.

Got my Bluelab EC/ppm meter in today! Once I had it calibrated I decided to test my tap water. It came out to 420ppm, I shit you not... God wants me to grow pot! Unfortunately this is also a little high as I decided to test my ppm with my nutes. Note: this water hasn't been left out to evaporate chlorine or anything. I’m planning to water cure my weed. Is it necessary to flush my plants or not; and instead continue the nutes for a week more than was planned ( since all the nutes, chlorophyll etc will be diluted in the distilled water during the water curing process ) and why ?!
