Organic slow-release amendments...How does an excess occur? I thought that couldn't happen :-/While these gals are super healthy and look great (What do you think?), I'm looking for high-standard criticism/advice. Inexpensive solutions to excessive calcium in water? (Distilled water would be expensive over time)Calcium particulate coming from humidifier. I'm using soft water (from a well), but it seems like there's still build-up. I added water softener salt tablets to the humidifier, but I don't think changed anything (ion exchange w/o a charge?). Organic dry amendment replacement for bottled cal-mag nutes? (Preferably off-the-shelf)I always seems to run into calcium issues (rusting and interveinal chlorosis) around wk 4. While early use of bottled cal-mag (TPS, "organic") has worked very well, I'd like to be able to simply add an additional organic dry amendment in my line-up vice bottled nutes. Any ideas?Week 2

Push until seeded?I've heard growers (Mr. Canucks Grow) say they like to push their plants until there are a few seeds in their final product. What does that mean exactly and is there any wisdom in that thinking? Does it mean their plants hermie and self-polinate? How does that work in fem seeds?Week 14

Is a plant not fading an issue?Any thoughts on why one plant began to fade in week 4 flower and the other still hasn't? Same genetics, enviro, feed and water sked. Will press for one more week to finish trich dev. Does no fade mean more chlorophyll and a bad smoke, or does that break down occur while drying?

Cal or mag def?Believe this is a cal or mag def. Didn't begin supplementing until last week (2ml organic cal-mag per gal), but they're getting it w/ every watering now. Lightening between veins on higher sites, minor rust spots on lower sites. Think I can ride this out,but wanted to hear others

Compost Tea Advice: Throw away the leftover amendments or use as top-dress?Upcoming compost tea planning (first use of tea methodology): Fish bone meal, angel's touch, lobster compost, molasses, and recharge. TCheck Device ThoughtsHow accurate do you think the TCheck device is? My Lemon tested 18.6%, BUT my Jock Horror tested 27.3%!!! 😯 JH advertises @ 15-20% on Seedsman. What is your best guess at what's going on here? I ran two (2) samples for a total of four (4) testing runs.

PPFD Management -- Am I doing this right? :) (See fan leaf photos for curling)TS1000 (150W x 2), set to 75% at 12-14". "Photone" app (yes, not as good as a PAR reader) reads 580-700 PPFD, so I sense these girls aren't getting as much light as they could. I've read that pushing 900 PPFD is desired (CO2 bags);fan leaves curled. How should I think about this?

Triage Ineffective. Week 3 flower. Getting really nervous...suspected N def. RH 45-50%, 25-27C, molasses, neem 1.5 wks ago, water to slight run-off.3 plants, same issue. Yellowing. Older growth to new growth. Slow, yet steady spread. 24FEB-01MAR issue. Week 3 flower. Soil pH6.5,watering .75L every 2days, increased nutes 25FEB to 75% dosage (up all 3 foxfarm), 27FEB 90% dosage, 01MAR water 6.3pH. No clue why this won't stop

Fine-Tuning Nitrogen Understanding (Deficiency or Toxicity) -- Suspected deficiency, so how do I adjust Fox Farm nutes? Increase ALL 3 nutes to 3/4 dose?Initial inter-vein yellowing, followed by whole leaf yellowing. Minor leaf stem reddening. Older growth. Normal for flower stage (I believe), but too early for normal and rapid discoloration (week 6). This makes me believe it's a nitrogen deficiency, amplified by SLIGHT overwater

Drooping New Growth -- Any thoughts?Any thoughts on this new leaf growth?
