šŸ‘‰The GoodšŸ˜‹ Miss Monk has been a hell of a fun girl to grow, she has grown big fat colas with big fat buds. She if very pungent in smell with a very papaya tone to her while growing. Now that she is dried and 1 month cured I can tell you she still has retained that tropical papaya smell to her with some backup notes for sweet and fruity. Vaping her I find the taste to be on the Earthy and Pine side with just the lightest hint of a little skunk. Itā€™s very pleasant and nice, but the fruity sweet tones werenā€™t there in the vape and thatā€™s ok. Some of the other fruity and sweet weed out there get tiring and overbearing after a couple days. Having an earthy pine taste to her makes her a bit more ā€œclassicā€ and itā€™s a taste that is nice long term day in and day out. Her effects have changed a lot in the last month. Smoking her right after she dried vs a month into cure is 2 very different experiences. Right after we she finished drying, she was peaky in the high, very energetic, and was very hard to sleep on. Now that we are a month in the cure she has mellowed out a lot. The high is more blunt, last longer, and very smooth. She still a sativa and sheā€™s not going to couch lock you, but she makes you want to do more creative or interactive activates like reading a book, drawing, playing an instrument, or video games. Now that she is cured I can also sleep on her, she wonā€™t really put you to sleep but she will let you and will give you nice creative dreams. Barneyā€™s Farm lists her as an 80% Sativa, and Iā€™m not use if itā€™s just my pheno but I would have rated her more along the 60% Sativa scale. She is still talkative, engaging, and interactive, but itā€™s more like a nice coffee house high with your friends, or itā€™d be awesome to smoke during a night of billiards. šŸ‘‰The BadšŸ˜Ÿ I had some excess heat issues in the grow room, and my Funny Monk really didnā€™t like the excess heat. Now keep in mind this is 28-30C at the hottest points, the excess heat was just that, excess, it wasnā€™t extreme. Miss Monk had tacoā€™ing leaves fairly badly, she also produced ~5 bananas across the entire plant that I found. I marked the colaā€™s that I found bananaā€™s on and kept them separate for me to smoke first. I can tell you that I have yet to find a seed and that makes me very happy. šŸ‘‰Harvest In NumbersšŸ™ 450w LED above her (From the wall) 7.53 sq.ft (0.7 sq.m) 2,137 g (75.38 oz) Wet Total 452.5 g (15.96 oz) Dry Total 21.2% Net dry weight 23 weeks growing 1 week drying = 24 weeks total 452.5 g / 24 weeks = 18.85 g / week (0.67 oz /week) 452.5 g / 47 branches = 9.63 g / branch (0.34 oz / branch) 452.5 g / 450 watts = 1.01 g / watt 452.5 g / 0.7 sq.m = 646.4 g / sq.m Miss Laughing Buddha was in her own ~2ā€™x4ā€™ measuring it out itā€™s a little under that so I used 0.7 sq.m or 15.1 sq.ft as the actual size. I used a max of 450w during flower, but with the heat issues I was having (due to the 30 C outside temps) she only had 450w for about ~2 weeks of flower. The rest of the time the LED light power was below 450w and Iā€™d say the majority of the time she only got around ~300w of power. However Iā€™m going to use the 450w for the calculation as that is the peak that she received. Barneyā€™s Farm quotes her as 600 g/sq.m and she outperformed that with 646.4 g/sq.m showing that their estimate is well within reason. She produced 1 g/watt and I consider that a very conservative estimate since most of the time she was down around the 300w range. If I did the numbers with 300w sheā€™d be up in the 1.5 g/watt area, I think the truth for this girl is somewhere between those two numbers. 21.2% net dry is prefect for this girl, itā€™s right in the sweet spot that I usually see. A very impressive (especially with the long flower time of her at 73 days) of 18.85 g/week growing. šŸ‘‰Final ThoughtsšŸ‘ˆ I think one of the reasons why my girl has come out more on the ā€œrelaxingā€ end and not as much on the ā€œenergeticā€ side is because of her ripeness when harvesting. She ripened more then I think I was supposed to let her. She had tons of amber through her trichomes, just riddle with them, and I think that is why she more on the relaxing end. Not sure shy she ambered in so fast and dense, but I donā€™t regret it one bit. I have lots of energetic sativas and I really like her mellow side to her, itā€™s still happy, active, and engaging but her mellow side makes her great for an engaging in evening with friends. A very very nice sativa that has the relaxing effects that I love after a long week of work. Iā€™m giving her a 9/10, I think she is near perfect but Iā€™m deducting 1 point for the sensitivity to the heat that she showed. I would definitely recommend anyone to give her a grow, she is very easy to grow and will make you feel like a superstar with the yields and quality that she produces. Iā€™ll be growing her again in the future and Iā€™ll be growing her during the winter so I can control the temps more easily. Not sure if Iā€™ll send her to a lab for testing or not. Iā€™ll update with the results if I send her to the lab.

This is written about a month after harvest ~1 week of drying and ~3 weeks of cure time. šŸ‘‰The GoodšŸ˜€ My Bikini Girl did well, she produced me some beautiful plump and juicy buds. These things are the most gorgeous colaā€™s Iā€™ve ever seen (IMO). Iā€™ve only grown 10 different strains so far but this girl has the densest trichome patter Iā€™ve ever seen on my digital microscope. She also handled the excess heat in the room just fine, didnā€™t show any heat stress signs and didnā€™t banana on me. The Painkiller also handled the heat well, but my Northern Lights and Laughing Buddha didnā€™t fair so well. She has a earthy and piney smell to her, there is a slight hint of skunk to her but itā€™s very mild. The smoke has a mild mixture of pine and mint with a hint of skunk. None of the tones are very loud and Iā€™d honestly describe the smoke as ā€œclassic weedā€. Itā€™s a very nice smoke but itā€™s not any of these fancy flavors floating around. Itā€™s a nice smooth classic weed smoke that isnā€™t dominated by any flavor, smell, or tone. The high is very active, my brain feels alive and creative. I feel happy and itā€™s really nice to hit right before I head into my grow room to be a big prune. Itā€™s a little more on the creative or involved, like a good video game or cleaning the car, something that is a little more task/decision oriented. I donā€™t feel like doing a repetitive task like a lot of other sativaā€™s Iā€™ve tried, I feel like I want a more involved task. The high is also clear, I donā€™t feel like Iā€™m in a heavy fog, maybe a light fog that keeps me more focused on the task at hand, but still able to think well. It also has a bit of a body uplifting high to her as well, I feel lighter and relaxed. Bomb Seeds describes the high as "Powerful and Euphoric" after smoking I can definitely get there and can agree with that assessment. To me it feels a little more on the creative/inspiring side, but "euphoric" can also be a good description of it. šŸ‘‰The BadšŸ˜³ My poor bikini girl split her main T and her 2 secondary Tā€™s, this did stunt her a bit but she pulled through and did very well. She is a bit more of a ā€œcompactā€ girl with tight node spacing and is very strong. She is a strong Sativa and as such is not recommended for sleeping in any way. She keeps my mind going and I can not sleep on her, so use her as a daytime high and switch to a another strain in the evening when you want some sleep. šŸ‘‰Harvest In NumbersšŸ™ She produce 200w LED above her 3.78 sq.ft (0.35 sq.m) 1,116 g (39.37 oz) Wet Total 189 g (6.67 oz) Dry Total 16.9% Net dry weight 20 weeks growing 1 week drying = 21 weeks total 189 g / 21 weeks = 9 g / week (0.317 oz /week) 189 g / 33 branches = 5.7 g / branch (0.20 oz / branch) 189 g / 200 watts = 0.945 g / watt 189 g / 0.35 sq.m = 540 g / sq.m First Iā€™d like to say that Iā€™m treating the Atomic Bomb as if it used up 25% of the 4x4 tent space, the realistic truth is that this is probably assigning too much space to it. She should probably be around 20% maybe even less. Bomb Seeds claims the Atomic Bomb produces 450-550 g/m.sq so 540 g/m.sq is right in line and on the high end of their quoted yield. Bomb seeds is on the up and up with their yields quotes, if anything they are a little conservative. If I used the 20% of the tent space then it would be 0.28 m.sq and the result would be 675 g / m.sq and that is an amazing grams per m.sq and easily the most Iā€™ve ever gotten. The 9g / week is on the low end for what Iā€™m use to seeing for yields, but considering the splits she had to recover from itā€™s understandable. I think that itā€™s fair to say that it stunted the girl at least 2 weeks, that would put it at 19 weeks and 9.95 g/week and ~10 g/week is more in line what I see from sativas I grow. 0.945 g / watt is a good yield for me, and like I said above itā€™s an over estimation of wattage and area used, so realistically this girl probably yielded over 1g/watt. Drying I really feel I let her over dry by 18-24 hours, I should have jarred her up the day before but I was feeling her and it felt a bit borderline. So I let her go another day, and of course it was a week day, and I couldnā€™t get to her until after work making it an extra 24 hours, this turned out to be a bit too much. Looking back on it I should have increased the humidity in the room from 50% to the 60-65% humidity and then that would have slowed down the drying a bit more. In the end it was 16.9% net dry yield from the wet trim and this is the lowest net yield Iā€™ve ever had. I think itā€™s dryer then 62% and the 62% Boveda humidity packs will probably plump it up a bit more and I might actually gain a bit more weight in the jars. šŸ‘‰Final ThoughtsšŸ‘ˆ Iā€™m really like her, the smoke is very different from the other sativas Iā€™ve grown. I like that itā€™s more mentally and creatively stimulating with the slight body high is also very nice edition. Next time I go for a nice hike Iā€™m going to pack this in the vaporizer, itā€™d be a awesome smoke to enjoy the great outdoors with. I wish I had more of her because she has such a nice creative side to her, Iā€™ll definitely be growing her again. Iā€™m giving her 9/10 because of the splitting at the Tā€™s. But other than that she has been a fantastic girl to grow and to smoke. Iā€™d recommend anyone who likes a nice sativa to give this one a grow, I canā€™t see how anyone can be disappointed in a sativa like this. Iā€™m pondering sending her in for lab testing, but at only 6.67 oz of but Iā€™m not sure I really want to drop $150 into testing. I'll update this post with the results if I send it in for testing.

Iā€™m writing this about a ~month after harvest and ~3 weeks cured. šŸ‘‰The GoodšŸ˜ƒ Painkiller has really surprised us with her smoke. She is marked as 9% THC and 9% CBD by Royal Queen Seeds. For us this was the first time trying a strain that had this 1:1 THC:CBD balance and also the first time weā€™ve tried something that was this low in THC (I think 15% THC has been the lowest weā€™ve tried before). We really didnā€™t know what to expect and was primarily growing this strain for fathers and uncles whom canā€™t grow and have numerous health issues. Upon trying my Naughty Nurse we were very pleasantly surprised by the effects, it is very nice, you can feel the high as being uplifting and relaxing but you keep you cognitive abilities. We were high, happy, and feeling great but had the added benefit that we could carry on complex discussions and tasks. As opposed to our usually get high and talk about how awesome different cheeses are as we stuff our faces. It didnā€™t make us sleepy at all, but at the same time we smoked a bunch late in the day and we had no problems sleeping on it. Win-win I canā€™t comment yet on how well it is for pain management or such, but I will come back and update this based on our experiences and feedback as we test it out. One thing that us and some friends are really liking the Painkiller for is to blend it with one of our other strains (usually the Blueberry or Northern Lights 20+% THC strains). By blending it with the heavier indicaā€™s we find it lightens them up a bit and extends the high out longer. The nice lemon/citrus flavour works very nicely for blending with other strains. The buds on our girl were nice and big, normal/medium density, with a very good amount of trichomes and stickiness. This being my first CDB strain I wasnā€™t expecting the depth of trichomes she produced, we grew 4 strains this time around and Iā€™d have to say she had the 2nd densest pattern of trichomes. The Atomic Bomb was the densest, the Painkiller was next, followed by the Northern Lights and the Laughing Buddha. She has a very citrus/lemon and fresh smell to her, itā€™s inviting and nice. No harsh flavours or tones to her at all. Itā€™s definitely a smell/flavour that everyone likes and is sure to please. We had heat issues in our grow room this spring/summer, the outside temp went nuts and the A/C couldnā€™t keep the temp below 26, we jumped up into the 28-29 a lot. But the Painkiller did great, didnā€™t show any signs of heat or light stress and also didnā€™t show any bananaā€™s (unlike our Laughing Buddha and Northern Lights that showed both). So she is a bit more resistant to heat stress then some of the other strains out there, šŸ‘‰The BadšŸ˜” The only ā€œbadā€ thing I can really fault her for is that she has long, leggy, and weak branches. However I feel like this is being nit picky and not really anything ā€œbadā€. Itā€™s just her style of growing and putting a scrog in would more then handle holding her up. She is a great girl to grow and I will be growing her again. There are no real negative effects to the smoke that we have found so far. We can sleep fine on Painkiller and we haven't had any dry mouth or dry eyes. šŸ‘‰Harvest In NumbersšŸ™ My Naughty Nurse shared a ~4ā€™x4ā€™ tent with 2 other girls (Atomic Bomb and Northern Lights). The tents grow area is a little under 4ā€™x4ā€™ and so Iā€™m using 1.4 sq.m (15.1 sq ft) as the actual growing area. During the grow I had heat issues in the grow room, I had to change the light schedule to run during the coolest parts of the night/morning and also resulted in my having to turn down the lights. So when I went to flower the lights started out at ~500w for the entire 4x4 tent, I then increased it over ~2-3 weeks up to 800w total for the entire 4x4 tent. However with the heat issues I then had to turn the lights down again to try and reduce the heat in the grow room, I ended turning them back down ending up at 600w. Realistically this grow got the 800w tent power for ~10 days and then it started to be turned down. This means that the actual wattage used is a bit hard to pin down since it changed during the grow. As a result I'm going to use the 800w total tent power, this was the peak power I used only for 7-10 days and thus it makes my numbers look worse then they realistically are. Painkiller XL 250w LED above her 4.72 sq.ft (0.4375 sq.m) 1,263 g (44.55 oz) Wet Total 224.5 g (7.92 oz) Dry Total 17.8% Net dry weight 20 weeks growing + 1 week drying = 21 weeks total 224.5 g / 21 weeks = 10.7 g / week (0.38 oz /week) 224.5 g / 38 branches = 5.9 g / branch (0.21 oz / branch) 224.5 g / 250 watts = 0.90 g / watt 224.5 g / 0.4375 sq.m = 513.14 g / sq.m RQS claims 500-550 g / m.sq and I hit 513 g / m.sq so the harvest amount was right in line with their claims. I had some issues keeping the colaā€™s vertical and not leaning on others, this was my fault for not running a scrog. I strongly feel a scrog would have increase the yield a bit more, probably pushing it up into the 550 g / sq.m territory. Drying I really feel I let her over dry by 18-24 hours, I should have jarred her up the day before but I was feeling here and it felt a bit borderline. So I let her go another day, and of course it was a week day, and the extra 24 hours was a bit too much. Looking back on it I should have increased the humidity in the room from 50% to the 60-65% humidity and then that would have slowed down the drying a bit more. In the end it was 17.8% net dry yield from the wet trim and this is one of the lowest net yields Iā€™ve ever gotten. I think itā€™s a bit dryer then 62% and the Boveda humidity packs will probably plump it up a bit more and I might actually gain a bit more weight in the jars. šŸ‘‰Final ThoughtsšŸ‘ˆ Very happy with my Naughty Nurse, I think harvesting at F58 was perfect timing, just a bit of amber and very sticky and thick with trichomes. We are really liking the smoke, effects, and flavours. I would love to send this in to be tested at a lab for THC and CBD, hopefully that will happen and if it does Iā€™ll update with the results. Iā€™ve been very happy with her, only thing Iā€™m disappointed in is not having more. Iā€™ll be growing painkiller again and hot on the heals of this beautiful girl Iā€™m going to grow Euphoria from RQS that is also a 9% THC and 9% CDB but more on the indica side of the scale. Iā€™m going to be making a bunch of this into a tincture for the old farts in my life that have health issues. Iā€™ll follow up with the feedback I get from them. Below is the final update on the grow.

šŸ‘‰The GoodšŸ˜€ As of writing this I am 7 days post jarring so she is still a little young (hasn't gotten the full cure yet) and all I can say is that this suff is EPIC! Don't know if I just happened to get a great pheno but vaping this tastes great, like a caramel pine with the smell having a lemon sent as well (but the lemon doesn't come through in the vape). The smell and taste is A+..... The high itself (again remember this is only 7 days cured so it's still young) is amazing! The high comes on really strong and has long lasting waves of relaxing euphoria. This stuff is listed at 22% THC from Canuk seeds and I believe it, I haven't had it tested at a lab (yet, I'm pondering it) but I can compare it to the NG Blueberry that is also an very similar Indica hybrid and I did have the NG Blueberry lab tested. We have tried it and shared it with 2 other friends and all of us agree that it is significantly stronger then the NC Blueberry, so much so that we are warning friends to take it easy when they smoke this. Breeder says quotes the high as "Couch Lock and Physical", out pheno doesn't really go down that road. It's relaxing and euphoric (extremely nice), it's also great to sleep on but I wouldn't describe ours as "couch lock" in any sort of way. But maybe it'll move more there as it cures in more and I'm sure we could get ourselves couch locked if we over did it. šŸ‘‰The BadšŸ˜ž The buds are really small, the cola's were long and I did a fair amount of lollypopping on her but even her top buds were small. This isn't a huge issue as it has a ton of kick and the smell/taste/high are amazing, I'd personally rather have a tasty amazing high that is a small but then a huge bud that disappointed. The temps in the room for the last ~3.5 weeks of flowering got too high (27C-29C) this stressed the plant and she didn't handle it very well. I got some taco'ing and ~5+ banana's formed on her. This is my fault for letting the temps get that high, we had very outside temps and although I made major changes to my grow room over the winter this was the first real test of it. The changes I made did work to keep the temps lower and handle the heat better, but it wasn't enough to keep it at the magical <26C that is ideal. In the grow room I had 4 plant, all different breeders/strains and out of the 4 plants 2 had taco'ing leaves and banana's and 2 didn't. So the heat stress was too much for the Northern Lights but it was also too much for one of my other girls. Right now I blame myself for this not the breeder, I'll be growing Northern Lights again in the future and hopefully I can keep the temp <26C and I'll be able to determine if the banana's were a result of the high temps as I suspected. The good part of the bad banana news is that I marked all of the cola's that had banana's (that I found). We are smoking those cola's first and so far we have found no seeds. So it looks like there is a high probability that those banana's are immature and didn't result in any seeds. šŸ‘‰Harvest In NumbersšŸ™ The Northern Lights was in a ~4x4 tent with 2 other girls (3 plants total). The inside of the tent is a little smaller then 4'x4' I'm using 15.1 sq.ft (1.4sq.m) because this is more realistic to the actual area in the tent. During the grow I had heat issues in the grow room, this made me have to change the light schedule to running during the coolest parts of the night/morning and also resulted in my having to turn down the lights. So when I went to flower the lights started out at ~500w for the entire 4x4 tent, I then increased it over ~2-3 weeks up to 800w total for the entire 4x4 tent. However with the heat issues I then had to turn the lights down again to try and reduce the heat in the grow room, I ended turning them back down to and ended up at 600w. Realistically this grow got the 800w tent power for ~10 days and then it started to be turned down. This means that the actual wattage used is a bit hard to pin down since it changed during the grow. As a result I'm going to use the 800w total tent power, this was the peak power I used only for 7-10 days and thus it makes my numbers loose worse then they probably realistically are. Northern Lights 350w LED above her 6.6 sq.ft (0.6125 sq.m) 1,620 g (57.14 oz) Wet Total 335.9 g (11.85 oz) Dry Total 20.7% Net dry weight 19 weeks growing + 1 week drying = 20 weeks total 335.9 g / 20 weeks = 16.8 g / week (0.6 oz /week) 335.9 g / 46 branches = 7.3g / branch (0.26 oz / branch) 335.9 g / 350 watts = 0.96 g / watt 335.9 g / 0.6125 sq.m = 548.4 g / sq.m I'm extremely happy with these number. Canuk seeds doesn't quote a grams per sq meter, and I feel like 548 g per sq meter is very good. I'm also happy with my 0.96 g/watt, this is actually looking worse then it is since I only ran that high of wattage for ~10 days so realistically I got over 1g/w. One of the reasons I veg for so long is its legal to grow here (4 plant limit) and for me I feel success in growing is more about how many grams I get per week invested rather than grams per watt or grams per sq meter. Very happy with this strain and I will be growing it again... just gotta find some more seeds since I only had one of these. šŸ‘‰Final ThoughtsšŸ‘ˆ Breeder suggestion F49 for harvest, I harvested at day F54 because I felt it needed more ripening and fattening up. I was thinking to let it run longer, however I was going out of town and dealing meant to committing to let it run until F58+ if I didn't pull it now. I was a bit worried if I let it go longer that it would get into a bad "couch lock" situation, however now that I've gotten to smoke it my pheno was not a couch locking one and I would have like to let it run longer. If you are growing this strain I'd suggest to make sure your temps are <26C to prevent stress and to let it run to F55-F60 before harvest. It puts on a lot of weight in the end and I would suggest going a little more aggressive that I did on the lollypopping. I'll do a bit more update with this as it cures and such, but for now happy growing. Below is more info on the grow

First of all this isn't a "Custom Strain" this is from Next Generation Seeds (nextgenerationseedcompany.com) they just aren't listed on grow diaries as a breeder. I have no affiliation with them, I have received nothing from them, I just don't want to take credit for a strain that isn't mine. My Sweet Island Girl is done and I couldnā€™t be happier with her growth, yield, smoke, tasteā€¦ everything about her has been a joy. The smoke is really nice, it hits hard and hits fast. The taste is very light, citrus, sweet, and fresh, everyone will like this smoke. It is a ā€œskunkā€ and has some skunk smell to her but itā€™s not overwhelming like a lot of other skunks Iā€™ve met beforeā€¦. more like a ā€œskunk lightā€ Itā€™s a sativa and the high is definitely sativa, this isnā€™t the strain for indica lovers. But if you like taking a big rip and then weeding your garden for the afternoon or washing your car this is definitely a great contender for making the task more enjoyable. However donā€™t be blazing this stuff before bed, it definitely will give you insomnia. She made BIG FAT FROSTY COLAS!!! We saved twelve colaā€™s that are between 12g - 16.5g each, put them into jars and have been sending out the whole colas to friends and family. The colas that are under 15g we put a extra bud in along with it to make sure itā€™s above 15g for them. None of these people grow and all of them are loving the whole colaā€™s. They get a kick out of cutting them apart to smoke, its been a real hit. We have shared this with some friends and family, the friends that are use to strong weed are very impressed and happy with it. The others that arenā€™t use to strong weed are now timid of it after their first try. This stuff will knock you on your ass. Our biggest cola was 19.3g dried (in picture) but was too wide to fit through the top of our biggest jar, so we had to cut it down to fit :( The breeder lists the THC content of this as 23%, it is stronger then the BC Blueberry (from the same breeder) and that was listed by the breeder as 20% and we had it lab tested with the results coming in at 19.7%. So there is a fairly good chance this stuff is in the 22-23% range. Hoping to get it lab tested next month. The buds themselves are nice and big, very sparkly, but medium density. The BC Blueberry has denser buds then the Island girl, but these buds are still very nice in the density department, just not as much as that epic Blueberry. Edit Lab Results are in; CBD = < 0.100% (not detectable) THC delta-9 = 0.288 THCa = 23.9 Total THC = 21.2% Breeders usually quote THCa or THCa plus THC delta 9 as their THC levels. The breeder quoted it as 23% THC, so 23.9 THCa is right in line with that (even a bit better). But the actual THC is 21.2% (THCa * 0.877 THC delta-9), and although that is a bit lower then the 23% they quoted, I know they quote the higher numbers all the time to make themselves look good. 21.2% is very good, and I'm happy with the potency of this strain. So we have had this strain for a couple months and I thought I'd do an update on the strain. It is very potent and can put you on your ass, however it is a peaky high, it comes on strong and goes away quickly. It doesn't have the rolling waves of high like some other strains. She is a sativa and is had to sleep on, don't smoke it any time you want to get some rest. She is a skunk and if you like skunks you will love her, but for some skunk just isn't their taste and you best no grow this strain. Really like her, I give her a very solid 9/10, 1 point off for a peaky high, other then that she hit everything else out of the park.

This is only my 2nd grow and with getting such a huge yield from her I decided to send her into a proper lab for testing to find out her exact THC level. Attached below in the pictures is the lab report, it goes as follows. CBD = < 0.100% (not detectable) THC delta-9 = 0.178 THCa = 22.2 Total THC = 19.7% The breeder, Next Generation Seeds, said this strain was 20% THC so I think 19.7% is bang on perfect, especially since that is the actual convertible Total THC using the conversion factor of 0.877 rather than the higher adding method that some use. By comparison the White Cookies I grew from Crop King Seeds was suppose to be 19.25% THC according to Crop King Seeds (never had it tested). This Blueberry by Next Generation hits way harder and lasts way longer. I donā€™t know what the White Cookies actually is but it feels a lot lower then this Blueberry does. Bud size/yield on her is amazing, my ā€œsmallā€ buds are in around the .8g mark and Iā€™m swimming in buds that are in the 1.5g mark. Now for taste, smell, smoke, effectā€¦. The smell is a ā€œsweet berryā€, I donā€™t think Iā€™d call it a blueberry smell, but then again I have blueberry bushes in my back yard and eat them straight off the plant so my idea of a blueberry smell fresh off the plant might be different then people buying store bought ones. The smoke is very nice, it has a mint and berry taste to it. Itā€™s very pleasing and everyone whom weā€™ve given it to has liked it. The high is very much a hybrid of a indica/sativa mix. Itā€™s very nice and itā€™s very chatty, but also really relaxing. Had a couple friends stop by the other weekend, we smoked a lot of blueberry, lazed around and chatted about food for hours as we ate. Itā€™s relaxing and nice to sleep on, but is also ok to work and do stuff on if you donā€™t hit it too hard. The high comes in ā€œwavesā€ and youā€™ll think, ā€œthat was niceā€ as you are coming down off of a high wave and starting to think about other tokeā€¦ but then all of a sudden another wave and are surprised it keeps going. It has lasting/staying power and it very pleasant, however it can be a bit of a ā€œheadbandā€ high especially if you smoke a lot of it. Not a ā€œheavyā€ headband but a lighter rubber headband. If I got to name this strain I think Iā€™d call it Mint Berry Headband. We have shared this with several friends and family itā€™s gotten great reviews from everyone. Would highly recommend this as a grow. Update: 10 weeks after harvest Everyone loves this strain, we are down to 6.5 oz left and are going to keep the rest for ourselves and our guests. Friends have always liked the weed we've shared but never like this, they are all nuts to get more of this stuff. The taste is amazing and the hi is the perfect blend of Indica and Sativa. Totally relaxing but doesn't couch lock you (unless you over do it), comes in waves and lasts a long long time, still social, uplifting, and interactive with others. To top it all off it's a pleasure to sleep on. I have slated to grow another blueberry this fall, it'll be my first repeat strain grow, this is just too good of a strain to run out of.

The buds were mostly small with a lot of orange hairs and are dense. She defiantly a Sativa, nice clean/clear headed on her and she goes well with simple tasks. It's a chatty high, and there was not really any negative effects, it didn't make me sleepy but it also didn't cause insomnia. Overall it had nice effects. She's not "high test" definitely a lower THC level, Crop king has it listed at 16% and I believe that to be fairly accurate. It's a nice daytime working high or could even work well as a wake and bake. She's a nice high that is conducive to doing tasks. šŸ‘ Sheā€™s got a diesel smell to her and smoking she tastes like cheese and diesel. The taste is very much a love it or hate it, not a lot of sitting on the fence as itā€™s fairly distinct. I don't mind the taste of her but my S/O complains it's like vaping a "hobo's dirty sock". Like I said it's a very distinct taste and you either like it or you hate it. Giving the strain 7/10 overall because it has a really nice high, but the taste is very hit or miss depending on the person, it's production was low, and the buds were small. I probably won't grow it again anytime soon just because my S/O doesn't like the taste and well there are lots of strains out there that both of us enjoy the taste of with a similar high.

BUBBA WAS FUCKING BAD Well this bitch hermied on me! Pulling off the underside bud growth and confirmed it had couple males. In my hand and dried up pollen sack exploded, the pollen shot up in a little ā€œpuffā€ cloud. Iā€™m mad, now I have some shitty pollen floating around my grow room. The bitch got taken out of the grow room that instant. I chopped her and weighed her wet and then threw her out. Donā€™t want to risk having pollen in my grinder/on my fingers when I go into the tent to take care of the other girls, that is isnā€™t worth the oz or two of crappy bud. Hopefully it didnā€™t fuck any of my other girls, but odds are that it may have impregnated my sour jack sitting right next to her. Crop King Seeds should NOT BE SELLING THESE SEEDS!!!! DO NOT BUY BUBBA KUSH IMO this is one of the main reasons for this community. To be able to look up information on strains before you buy them. Finishing a diary so others can see the results good or bad is better then abandoning a diary and leaving it in limbo where the rest of us don't know if you just got busy and didn't finish uploading it or if you had a genetics problem and killed it off early to save the rest of the crop. Please finish you diaries so the rest of us know. I'm hoping my bad experience will help save other growers the heartache of dealing with bad genetics. UPDATE: I knew stevieb21 was also growing a Bubba Kush from Crop King (don't know him, I just watch other diaries with the same strains and he was nice enough to comment on my grow a few weeks ago). I left a comment on his grow warning him to watch for hermie on his Bubba Kush, he checked a few hours later and sure enough his was hermied as well. So glad I could at least help a fellow grower out, his grow was a couple weeks behind mine, hopefully he caught it early enough that pollen didn't get onto his other 3 strains he is also growing.

I don't feel it's fair to CKS and Super Silver Haze for me to rate the growing or disease resistance. This was my first grow and I had some issues with power, temp, humidity, and I don't think it's fair to have my inexperience and mistakes weight in on this strain/breeder reputation. I'll be growing this again as I feel this first time around wan't a good representation of the genetics and the little sample we have tried of the end product is nice. ***UPDATE*** When she first came off it felt a little weak and "tame".... not sure how to describe it, but we weren't very pleased with it. Might have been a factor of us having to mess with her in the end chopping cola's to keep the bud rot at bay... We didn't smoke her for several weeks as we had a lot of the white cookies from the same harvest and it was a nicer smoke at the time. BUT!!! she cured for a month with boveda packs in the jars and now the bud it AWESOME! It's a very nice smoke, very energetic and extremely nice to work/chore/game with. I can see why this strain has a good reputation and why it won some awards (according to CKS). We've had a few big stoner friends over in the last week and they loved it, went and hit it the next morning to try it first thing on it's own and were even more impressed the next day with it. I'd definitely recommend this strain, we like it a lot and it's got very good reviews from numerous pot heads friends of ours. One side note, don't smoke it to late, it does give insomnia to most people, but that's part of the energetic high. We will be definitely be growing this again when our supply of it starts to get low.

Update: Smoking this is really nice, it's my first grow ever and this strain is on par with the best stuff we have ever bought from anywhere (dealer or dispensary). I made several mistakes with this grow and it still came out excellent. Can't wait to grow it again, can only imagine it'd get better. Great for a relaxing evening smoke and/or pre bedtime smoke, nice to sleep on. I don't feel it's fair to CKS and white cookies for me to rate the growing or disease resistance. So it'll get a round 2 or more and I'll give it a more realistic evaluation at that point.
